5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious glimpse
Verified PurchaseI loved and savored this book. I’m from New England and my family descends from the people in Boston so I felt like I was reading about my women ancestors. I’m not sure if I am actually related to them, but certainly they’re all there together at the same time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting read
Verified PurchaseI really enjoyed this book. I’m familiar with the American Bloomsbury group, Emerson, Alcott and Thoreau but never heard much about the women. History unfairly belongs to men. It was refreshing to read about these brilliant women who were ahead of their time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Margaret Fuller and her Circle
Verified PurchaseMargaret Fuller was the first advocate for women's rights and shared her wisdom and insights with other women in conversations at a Boston book store. The women empower each other with their conversations. The book is a fascinating study of these early advocates for women's education.
