Twist and pull the spark plug wire cap to remove. Once removed use a spark plug wrench and socket and turn counter-clockwise to unscrew the spark plug and remove it from the engine.
Inspect the area around the spark plug to ensure there is no debris or carbon build up and then using a spark plug gauge, measure the gap to make ensure proper spacing (check specifications for your model).
Once you’ve determined you have the spark plug for your machine, insert it into the spark plug chamber and gently tighten with a spark plug wrench or socket. Then securely attach the cap and wire to the new spark plug.
