Some of the finest Maple syrup is harvested in the heart of the Canadian countryside where miles of pipelines snaking through the sugarbush bring the sweet sap of the sugar maple to the Brien’s processing units. Here, pure maple syrup is made by boiling the sap until it becomes more viscous and sweeter giving you the amber deliciousness of Brien's all-natural maple syrup to enrich your food and beverages.

History in a Bottle
Maple syrup has a long history with the indigenous people of North America. They were the ones to first make and use Maple Syrup. The European Settlers learned the technique from them and adapted them to make the process easier and the product better. Now, maple syrup is a staple breakfast sweetener in many countries across the globe.

American or Canadian
Maple Syrup is predominantly a North American product. Canada is the major supplier of maple syrup and other products. The most famous maple syrup processing region is in Quebec, Canada. There is little difference between Quebec Maple Syrup and Vermont Maple Syrup. An average person will find it hard to differentiate between the taste and texture of the two. The difference lies mainly in grading, packaging, and marketing.

Brien’s Real Maple Syrup
Brien’s Maple Syrup is a product of Canada. In 1956, Sylvio Brien first set up his small sugar bush in the village of Sainte-Anne de la Rochelle, Quebec, in the heart of the Canadian countryside. His vision was to produce handcrafted maple products with an emphasis on purity and quality. From this humble beginning, Brien Maple Sweets has now grown into one of the largest maple syrup processing plants in North America.
