The Juice Fountain Cold Plus BJE530 features Cold Spin Technology allows juice to flow up and through the stainless steel cutting disc surrounded by an Italian-made mesh filter to ensure an insignificant temperature increase. With the pulp bin located behind the product base, the Juice Fountain Cold Plus features a new and unique space saving design for a better use of your countertop space. The unique 3.5” extra wide chute feed allows you to juice whole fruits and vegetables without pre-cutting. Less prep for larger produce. Juice and seal in a high capacity 70 fl. oz. jug for the whole family or store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

I consume a lot of healthy smoothies and juices. After quite a bit of research, I decided on this Breville Juice Fountain Cold Plus. The motor base of the juicer is made of stainless steel and it has a relatively small footprint. I have juiced beets, carrots, ginger, turmeric, apples, oranges, lemons, kale, spinach and cucumber in it so far. The juice is mostly particle-free and the pulp mostly dry. Cleaning it is a bit of a chore, but this is to be expected with any juicer. The included brush does a good job. My only complaint is that bits of pulp occasionally fly out of the feed tube and out of the pulp bin (where it fits to the machine). I will have to investigate this further to see if I can come up with a solution. Bottom line, it is a great juicer for the price and it does not significantly raise the temperature of the product during the juicing process.

The juicer doesn't yield cold juice as advertised and the back part that catches the trash keeps moving while im juicing. The presser is also extremely stiff so the juicer always shifts whenever I try to pull it back out. The froth it yields in the cup is out of this world and annoying too. The trash is also pretty moist which means that I'm not getting as much juice as I could.
I was expecting something better to be honest.
It has a quiet motor which is nice and it looks pleasing to the eye, that's about it.
