Product description

Get into juicing with this no-nonsense dual-speed juice fountain cold. Ideal for first-time juicers, this juicer runs on 850 watts and has two speeds, 13,000RPM or 6,500RPM, for hard and soft ingredients. Fruit is largely composed of water, but its selling point is its nutritional value. How do you extract the juice from fruit, without leaving the nutrients behind? Breville's Nutria Disc and patented juicing system extract more nutrients than other juicers and transfers less than 1.8F of heat to protect enzymes and maximize nutrient absorption of select nutrients. The uniquely designed juicing system features a feed chute that is centered over the shredding disc. This allows for more efficient juicing than systems that introduce ingredients on the side of the shredding disc. The dual speed, 850 watt motor allows you to juice hard fruits and vegetables like apples and beets on high speed at 13,000 RPM, while the low speed (6,500rpm) is optimal for softer fruits and leafy green vegetables like cantaloupe and spinach. The Juice Fountain Plus cutting disc is so powerful that pineapple can be juiced in large chunks with the rind on. In addition, this juicer features an extra-wide 3-inch feeder chute that accommodates large chunks or entire pieces of fruit or vegetables, eliminating the need for chopping vegetables. The BJE430SIL is not only easy to use, but also easy to clean. It is pulp-ejecting and comes with a large-capacity pulp collector and most parts can be cleaned on the top shelf of the dishwasher. Safety Locking Arm An Interlocking Safety Arm stops juicer operating without cover locked into place. Extra-Large 3.6 qt Pulp Container.

this is a juicer that can make large amounts of juice at a time or as little as a single glass. It's super easy to use and not difficult to clean. love that you can make a whole jug at a time. The pulp is damp.. not dry but not wet either. It does whole fruits and veggies with ease. The ONLY issue I have had with it is that when making large batches, sometimes the pulp can get backed up a bit and I have to stop the machine and push the pulp through to the pulp container and restart. This has only happened a couple of times ( usually bc I've been going too fast and over filled the feeding chute) and we have used it every single day for several months. Overall great juicer that makes juicing a breeze.

UPDATE.. early December this juicer just stopped. no power, no juicing it just stopped. I thought maybe it had come unplugged but no. Only lasted 6 months and we are not hard on stuff. took very good care of it. Contacted Breville and they are sending a new upgraded version, Really disappointed in the machine but the Breville rep was great. update.. we thought they were sending an updated version but when it arrived it was the exact same model.

UPDATE # 2 well my replacement juicer only lasted 9 months. The first one the on off switch came loose and now the arm that clicks in place has come loose at the connection to the machine. The company has offered me another one. (must be the same model they say) Maybe third time is a charm? I must send it back and they will ship me a new one. What a pain so I will be without one again for several weeks. I am happy that they are trying to make this right but these are for sure not their best made machines. Neither has even lasted even through the one year warranty period. While we do use it often (every other day) I not overzealous or hard on appliances. This is just not up to Breville's usual standards.

I have used this every day for the past 5 months and it stil works great! Most of the parts are super easy to clean except for the spout/basin that the ‘blade’ sits in - it is annoying to clean and it is difficult to clean in some of the grooves and the sprout itself. Aside from that, it pumps out my celery juice in record time. I do always run the pulp through again or sqeeze the residual juice out of the pulp with a cheese cloth, but aside from those things, i love this juicer!

This thing is amazing. It takes a couple of times to get used and be comfortable, mostly because it works so fast and well. You have to make sure its all plugged in and sealed properly, because a couple of times I made some splatter because I had the nozzle backwards or soemthing. This thing works so well, cleans so easily. Just line your disposal bucket with bags for super easy cleanup. you can make 2 days worth of juice in <10 min with cleanup if I really wanted to. including rinsing the fruit and veg!

I purchased this juicer 2 weeks ago, and found that the majority of the Juice remained in the reservoir. I figured i would have to cut all my produce into smaller bits, and perhaps combine the fruits to vegetables as i juiced. Nothing worked, and the process was tedious and long. I had to remove everything from the reservoir after cutting/juicing,- and strain it by hand with a cheesecloth. A process that took 3 + hours. I sent emails to the Breville company for a refund, and never got a response back. Save your money and purchase a slow juicer from Nama...I wish I would have know this earlier.
