These brake cable housing are great. They were easy to cut to the right length with just a pair of snippers. The difference they make is night and day. I changed my brake cables and I still wasn't fully satisfied with their smoothness so I looked at replacing the housing as well and it has made such a difference. The housing cables are quite flexible. It advertised that there was enough for 2-3 bikes, but unless you're dealing with kids bikes, I don't expect you'll get more than 2 done with this kit. Also, goes without saying, but there isn't really any instruction provided. Watch a video on YouTube if you've never dealt with bicycle housing before.

    The brake cable housing works, and is structurally similar to brand name housings. But you can tell the difference, like in the quality of the outer sheathing material.

    The end caps supplied with the housing are half the correct ones (the metal ones), and half are the wrong kind (black ones, which are for the 4mm shift cable housing).

    If you compare the price to, say, Jagwire housing, you'll see that this housing is about 1/3 of the price. So, for its dollar value, it is a reasonable product.
