Excellent design. Plastic composition is sturdy. Price for 2 spouts was a real value. Each spout includes silicon (2x) washers for exterior and interior. The turn lever is marked with ON (open) and OFF (closed) to indicate position. I noted that this had a small pin hole when in OFF position to properly drain what remains in the spout. A small detail that I really appreciated. While I am using this for compost tea, and not for making beer, I would feel confident to use this product for food production. Highly recommend.

The spigot easy to install ( had proper tools to drill hole ) in 20 litre plastic oil buckets.
Spigot little stiff to turn on and off, know big deal.
Spigot has very little hole in front of spigot and when you turn it on liquid comes out.
Used buckets for diesel fuel to be sure of seal used copper gasket maker with supplied plastic washers no leaks and a drop on the hole in spigot. So far no leaks.
For the money well worth it.
