    My grandma thinks this gadget is the best thing ever and very fun to use. She always wants to wash my kitchen floor and watch the old lino return to white. Takes a week for it to get dirty again after my kids destroy it with mud. We live on a farm and the kitchen is my kids access to the back yard, constantly running in and out dragging in dirt to get snacks before going back outside. One of the reasons we don't bother getting new flooring... but this thing brings the white back to shiny sparkling new.     Pullman Holt B200752 Gloss Boss Mini Floor machine. The item arrived on time, but I really can't say it was in good condition. It appears to have been used, although not abused. It also had some oily-solventy liquid all over the casing and wheels. This might be something that's supposed to be inside it, or it might be some cleaning fluid the previous purchaser used. I cleaned it up as best I could and used the machine. It does emit some kind of odor, which might be normal, and is probably the same substance I cleaned off of it. It does overheat quickly. I cleaned about half of a 28x16 foot space, with two passes (one cleaning and one polishing), and it stopped near the end. I assume it would do the entire space, with all the furniture removed, but only one pass. I have read that it is too light, but I am using it on hardwood, and it seemed to be just right.

    Anyone who grew up in the 50's or 60's probably had one in his house. The houses built in the years following WWII all had hard wood floors except for kitchens and bathrooms that were covered with linoleum. However with the advent of wall to wall rugs these scrubbers seemed to have gone the way of the Dodo bird. However, now that hardwood floors are all the fashion they have once again appeared. This model has proven to be both sturdy and effective in keeping our new hardwood floors looking their very best. It is a solid 10 out of 10 from me.

    this floor polisher is a pale imitation of my 1963 model that just gave up the ghost, however, it serves the purpose and works fine to keep my hardwood floors in shape. It is not a heavy duty machine, think malibu barbie, but then what is these days.
    I have given my old machine a decent send off with the expression of gratitude she so deserves, this new barbie model will do in a pinch. Ah the good old machines...it was, as promised easy to assemble, so all in all I would give this a 6 but only because I have a jaundiced eye looking into the past. .

    This item is sold under several names around the world! After the warranty is over, you can not buy any service repair parts (gears, motor)! If your Pullman-Holt Gloss Boss Mini fails under warranty they will replace it with a new one. But after warranty, there are no parts available for this machine, only accessories (pads, brushes)! I would like to state that other Pullman-Holt commercial products do have service repair parts available, just not for this disposable "Gloss Boss Mini"! If you want a real shampooer/floor polisher, buy yourself a Koblenz P-820-A, like I did. P.S., I returned my Pullman-Holt Gloss Boss Mini for the above reasons. Sincerely, Steff.
