Bosch PR20EVSNK Colt™ Electronic Variable-Speed Palm Router Installer Kit
The Bosch PR20EVS Colt variable-speed palm-grip router puts routing power and precision in the palm of your hand. The PR20EVS has an ergonomic palm-grip design with softgrip to make it very comfortable to hold, yet it also has ample power, making it typically easier to use than larger routers. It's more than a just a laminate trimmer, as it is the ideal tool for putting roundovers on deck railings, mortising for hinges, slot cutting, and much more. The motor features soft-start, a variable-speed control, and Constant Response circuitry to maintain speed under load. The PR001 fixed base features macro- and micro-fine depth adjustment.
Laminate Installers Kit
This kit includes the motor, fixed base, 1/4 In. self-releasing collet, comfortable foreged bit wrenches, edge guide and case. This laminate installer kit also includes a roller guide, offset base with roller guide, tilt base, and an underscribe plate with adjustment wrenches.

Constand Speed Under Load
The PR20EVS Palm Router features Bosch's Constant Response™ circuitry, which monitors and maintains a consistent speed by detecting heavy loads and increasing power to maintain the selected rpm. Working with stable speed helps ensure clean, burn-free cuts. The motor also has soft-start to reduce startup torque.
Grip and Control
This palm router was engineered with an ergonomic design so the user can have better control for quality results and reduced fatigue. The motor housing of the unit has a palm-shaped, rubber over-molded soft grip that allows for a solid, comfortable grip. It includes an angled cord exit to keep the router's cord out of the way.
Rugged Base
The Bosch PR20EVS router includes a rugged aluminum fixed base that's durable and reliable. Depth adjustment is simple: Just lower the motor to the desired position, engage the fine adjustment system, fine-adjust as needed and then lock the router in position with the clamping lever. And the motor can be easily released for movement to one of the other optional bases.
Power and Convenience
The PR20EVS owes its robust performance to a 1.0-hp (max), 5.6-amp motor that spins at a speed of 16,000 to 35,000 rpm. The router accepts a wide array of standard 1/4 In. bits for greater versatility and allows a maximum cutter diameter of 1-5/16 In. The front spindle lock on the motor allows easy, one-wrench bit changes, and a shaft wrench is also included for those who prefer to change bits using two wrenches. The speed dial is conveniently mounted on top of the tool body for easy access.
