The Bosch GTA3800 Folding-Leg Miter Saw Stand with Wheels features an industrial-tough design and is an indispensable accessory for mounting miter saws on job sites and moving between work areas without dismounting the saw. This light and strong stand fits most miter saws on the market, including the Bosch 12-in., 10-in. and 8-1/2-in. single- and dual-bevel miter saws – as well as competitor saws. The stand has smooth end rollers that are modifiable in height to match the height of the user's miter saw. Adjustable rails on the compact miter-saw stand hold workpieces up to 16 Ft., and they have stops to set up for duplicate cutting. The adjustable leveling foot works on uneven surfaces. The stand is equipped with transport wheels for easily moving it from location to location without removing the saw.

    After looking through the reviews, I was worried about ordering. The stand seemed very well made but was delivered frequently damaged during shipment. I was very impressed with my Bosch mitre saw so I decided to take a chance on the stand. I am very glad I did. Although heavy, it is extremely well built. I have my Bosch mitre saw mounted on it and definitely both tools are professional grade. It was delivered by Canada Post - zero issues, thanks Canada Post. I would definitely recommend.

    The roller things are the best. The extending arms are square so it more sturdy than the circular ones.
    Folding it is kinda awkward but that's just because it is big.
    The wheeles on it stand suck. I wish they were bigger. I'll probably change the wheels out for larger ones.
    All in all this is the best saw stand imo

    I was searching for this particular model for a while. It’s the best of the Bosch Models made and compliments my GSM12SD Axial Compound Miter Saw very well. It seems not very many available but finally found one on 鶹. I’m glad I kept searching this model is very sturdy and well engineered as most of the Bosch line is. Always wish these types of equipment would handle Longer pieces but thats my unrealistic side showing. It has great stops on both ends as well as Very tough well designed rollers. Blows DEWALT, Makita and Metabo out of the water. Period!

    I got this stand close to a year ago and have finally taken it and my Bosch saw out to job sites after selling my old Dewalt setup. I noticed immediately that this stand is not meant to have the saw attached to it when in transit. So what is the point in putting wheels on it then? Let me restate what is the point of this whole product. The Bosch T4B exists as does the Dewalt DWX726 both of which you can put your miter saw on, and move it around your shop/workplace with the saw still attached to the stand. If you need to take your saw to a friend's house, no problem with those stands roll it up to your tailgate fold it put the small wheels on your tailgate, and lift with the ergonomic handles whole thing slides in easy peasy.

    This stand, the wheels are made so you can roll/transport the stand and only the stand not the saw. Ergo why buy this stand when cheaper saw horse mitre stands are available? You can also cheaply purchase roller stands for your infeed and outfeed too. So this stand is essentially an upgraded version of a saw horse miter saw stand, and honestly, I don't see much point in those either if your saw is going on a stand get one with wheels that's meant to be mobile. If you don't plan on moving your saw, build a miter saw station with t-track and stop blocks. I am personally going to try to give this stand away and failing that its going to be recycled.

    For years I would set my 10 inch miter saw in the ground and make cuts as needed. When I purchased a new 12 inch saw, I also decided to do my back a favor and get a stand. I decided on the 3800 over the dewalt since the dewalt did not have material rollers any longer or wheels. This stand has been great. It is very well built and I had no issues with damage from shipping that a few others reported. The only negative I have noticed is with the amount of force needed to slide the saw to the end of the stand. After you fold the first set if legs and lower to the ground, when you lift the stand to fold the second set with the saw still in the middle of the stand you have to be careful it doesn't topple. This doesn't happen if you move the saw to the end of the stand, but sometimes sliding it back and forth takes a lot more force than other times. Still I gave it 5 stars and am so glad I bought it.

    Gave this stand its first real workout today with my DEWALT DW717 Miter Saw. Assembly & set-up is easy. As others have said, this stand + saw is heavy, and the balance is a bit awkward with the saw in its lockdown position. I've also used it with my Craftsman 10 inch drill press. Some improvements that could give it another star:
    - Larger diameter wheels would make navigating stairs much easier. As it is, the leg brackets will drag on the edge of each tread unless you maintain in an almost vertical position.
    - Better hand-holds on each end. They are fine with the stand alone, but with the extra weight of the saw they bite into one's palms too much.
    I also need to figure out hold to keep it stable in the bed of my truck as it tends to roll onto the saw support brackets rather than remaining flat on the bed.
    Overall I'm happy with it so far. I would recommend it. Will update as I get more use from it.
