How To Use:

  • Step 1: For an even, streak-free tan ensure skin is clean, exfoliated, and free of any moisturizers.

GIRLIES - GET THIS. No orange tones, no lingering self tan smell after you shower, no streaks, and very natural looking. I have an olive undertone, and this tan leans green which makes it look like a genuine tan - ergo, I am obsessed! I prefer it to st. Tropez, and it's so much cheaper. This is my go to tan now!

    J'adore mon auto-bronzant Bondi Sands Self Tanning ''Dark''. Je suis une blonde rousse. Je vais à la piscine extérieure tous les jours. J'ai une peau difficile à faire bronzer et qui brûle facilement. Après 1 mois de piscine j'ai fini par acquérir un certain bronzage (tout en utilisant des protections solaires 50 et 30 fps), mais le bas de mes jambes ne bronze pas (j'ai toujours ce problème). Mes pieds sont bronzés, mes genoux et mes cuisses sont bronzées, mais pas mon bas de jambe. Je viens d'utiliser Bondi Sands pour la première fois. Je l'ai appliqué avec un gant, seulement sur mon bas de jambe. La couleur est parfaite, elle s'harmonise parfaitement à mon bronzage naturel. Pas de stries, pas de senteurs !!! Je l'adore !!! Tous les autres auto-bronzant que j'ai essayé auparavant avaient une senteur épouvantable. Pas Bondi Sands. Essayez-le, vous ne serez pas déçu !

    The color went on very orange but when I showered after the allotted time, it went neutral and leveled out.
    This product does set quickly (pro and a con). PRO: it sets quickly so less time walking around naked waiting to put your clothes on, and less rub off on my pj's. CON: it sets quickly, so work in smaller portions and areas in order to maintain no splotchy parts.
    I did my left arm a bit wonky and now there is a dark splotch, but I'm not mad.

    I'm fairly pale (the kind of pale where people always ask "Are you OK?"). This tan in "dark" literally makes me look lightly* tanned and it's great. I'm sure if I put another layer on Day 2 of wear, it would be that "dark" colour.

    Scent: It's a strong coconut smell to cover up the smell of the tan. I love Coconut and my boyfriend doesn't seem to mind it, but be advised.

    Moisturizing? I hardly see it. I moisturize every day after so I can't really say... I want to say that it is on the drying side though. I don't know if that's a valid review though.

    For the price point, this is a great tan as long as you know how to use it. Work limb by limb, quickly and you shouldn't have any problems.

I’m so blown away at how nice this tan is, the colour is deep, it doesn’t smell funny and it’s even. I’m very impressed and after reading the reviews on it I was hopeful I would be just as pleased with it and I am. An application glove/ mitt is necessary when applying. I used the deep colour- it’s beautiful and NOT orange at all. Don’t think anymore- just buy it. You are going to like what you get with this one.

    Wow! I'm so impressed with this product! Not only does it have a great smell during application but it lasted my whole holiday in Mexico! I had skin cancer about 3 years ago, so have been using spray tans when I go on holidays. I thought this product would fade fast or splotch and it didn't! After about 7 days I did notice though, the usual faded patches showing around my armpit and inner elbow, but nothing super noticeable and it has happened worse with professional spray tans. WHEN this happens, I take a loofah and just gently exfoliate around those areas.
    APPLICATION: It is going to scare the crap out of you when you apply it LOL as it's almost a greeny-brown!
    However, continue to apply in sections of the body in continuous up and down movement or long circular motion (don't think about it too much really! Even some areas I thought were a little streaky turned out fine). I did watch some videos on youtube on best application procedures. JUST MAKE SURE to apply as fast and smoothly as you can, it can dry pretty quick. I got my fiancee to do my back, he did an amazing job haha!
    It says to re apply for a darker tan after half an hour, but I didn't and it was perfect golden brown after I rinsed off! You can after 6 hours, but I applied around 6PM and left it on over night. I knew even with sunblock I would tan a little more in Mexico, so this was a good looking base. DO NOT exfoliate when rinsing!!
    MITT PREFERENCE: You can purchase a Bondi Sands mitt and I think this is purely personal preference. I think mitts tend to absorb the product, kind of like a make up spnge (not as bad), so I feel I'm wasting product. I tried my hand on one leg, rinsed and decided best not to use bare hand. It washes off but not completely. I found a plastic baggy (ziploc LOL) and I'm tellin ya, it worked out great. It's a bit annoying but put a plastic band around the bag, around your wrist! It will help it from moving. GOOD LUCK! I love my product!
    My next vacation in March, I will apply two layers to see the difference.

    I was legit called a vampire at work because I am anemic,pale and work nights, this gave me some natural looking color and I am no longer feared for my vampiric skin. It spreads on evenly with little to no effort, I kept it on my face, hands and body for an hour and by the next day I looked sun kissed. I even got told I look healthier lol.

    It has a really good scent and is totally non staining, it did rub off on my towel and shirt while I was wearing it and those came clean with no effort in the laundry. I will be buying again and promoting this to all my vampiric friends.

    Ganz ehrlich, ich kann die negativen Rezensionen hier überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Ich habe das Produkt getestet und kann euch einen Überblick geben, wie es bei mir ausgefallen ist:

    1. Ihr müsst eure Haut zuvor peelen und rasieren, an den Stellen, wo ihr das möchtet. Nach dem Duschen wartet ihr erst mind. Eine Stunde, wenn sich die Haut ein bisschen entspannt hat, und ERST DANN trägt ihr es auf.

    2. Der Selbstbräuner ist super easy auf der Haut zu verteilen, er setzt sich nicht ab, verursacht keine Streifen und wird nicht Orange!

    3. Der Selbstbräuner riecht mega mega gut!!

    4. Einziger Nachteil: Wenn ihr ihn über Nacht einwirken lässt, und Klamotten drüber anzieht, färbt er normalerweise nicht ab. Es sei denn ihr schwitzt in der Nacht!!

    5. Wenn man es über Nacht einwirken lässt und am nächsten Morgen wieder abwäscht: Es kommt seeeeeehr wenig Farbe runter. Ihr dürft beim ERSTEN Duschen danach natürlich nicht mit Seife waschen, sondern nur mit Wasser.

    6. Der Selbstbräuner hat einen super natürlichen Ton, je öfter man es aufträgt hintereinander, desto intensiver wird der Hautton. Somit ist er also auch für Einsteiger (meiner Meinung nach) geeignet.

    Ich hatte viele Jahre den St. Moritz Selbstbräuner, der natürlich um einiges günstiger ist, dennoch in vielen Dingen, nicht an den Bondi Sands rankommt. Der ST. Moritz Selbstbräuner hat sich bei mir dauernd abgesetzt und er ist sehr sehr schnell in die Haut eingezogen. Außerdem ist die meiste Farbe nach dem Duschen direkt wieder runter gegangen.

    Der Bondi sands Selbstbräuner ist für mich der beste Selbstbräuner, den es auf dem Markt gibt.

    No tiene la típica olor de autobronceador, he probado muchos de marcas diferentes y ninguno huele como este, aún con el paso de las horas. Este tiene un olor sutil a coco. Conforme lo aplicas deja un color dorado en la piel muy bonito y natural, yo me ducho con agua tibia al cabo de unas 6-7 horas y deja la piel bronceada pero nada de venir del Caribe, un color sutil, un tono más por encima del tuyo. Voy a probar a aplicarlo durante dos días seguidos, a ver si consigo subir un poquito más el tono. Es recomendable no sudar ni mojarse después de la aplicación y hasta la ducha para retirar el exceso, ya que mancha, deja una marca de color rojizo. Es fácil de aplicar con un guante, no deja parches. Muy importante seguir las instrucciones de tener limpia, exfoliada y libre de cremas la piel para una correcta aplicación. Volveré a comprar!!
