Product description
The light flavor of the hulled grain allows it to be a sweet or savory food, which means the possibilities are endless! Enjoy whole grain millet as a unique alternative to rice in salads and stir-fries. Create a sweet breakfast millet porridge or add uncooked millet to bread for extra crunch. Or serve cooked millet with a drizzle of olive oil and a dash of salt and pepper in place of mashed potatoes for a delightful side that will enhance any meal.

- Reviewed in Canada on May 4, 2023Verified PurchaseConsistent, reliable quality. Great product.
I bake a lot of bread at home, and some recipes require a medium 7-grain hot cereal mix. I would go through a pre-mixed bag of hot cereal way too quickly, so I chose to make my own. It's stored in our chest freezer, along with several other grains. When I need some for a bread recipe, I whip up a batch of 7-grain hot cereal mix myself. It will be a long time before I need to re-order. It's just more convenient and economical for me.

- Reviewed in Canada on January 25, 2024Verified PurchaseI called myself a "foodie" which is actually an annoying word, but I had never tried Millet. Always looking for new things to try, especially a gluten free option in case of guests with restrictions. I did not like this at all. Nothing to do with the brand, I just found it very dry and mushy. I don't think I overcooked it, and it could be used for sweet or savoury applications like oatmeal.
