I have this set up to pair two Echo 2nd gen devices (speakers) to a 4K Firestick connected to a 4K Dell monitor, as 2nd gen aren't compatible to pair directly. It works great, with no lag between the two, and it saves me having to buy 2 newer gen devices. One of very few BT adapters that can pair 2 BT devices at the same time, and none at this price level. One thing to note is that the pairing is stereo to each device, not a left/right channel split for the one and for the other one. The Echos are mono only (with sound enhancement), but that's not really an issue for the setup I have. I was more interested in the excellent bass.

Connecting it was extremely easy, once the connection is done simply turn it on and use it, it will remember the connection established before and work flawlessly.
Battery stand by is just awesome, and after several hours of use was still working strong and only 1 bar was gone, you can always connect it to power and keep using it.
It can be used as a receiver or as a transmitter, so it is good to connect to an old system like I did and listen to it with up to 2 bluetooth headphones simultaneously or connect it to the auxiliary and turn the old system into a bluetooth speaker.
I have owned others but they were extremely difficult to use.

This is really great I was using the Anker one before this and that one last lasted many many years, but the button stopped working, so I I bought another one of those, but unfortunately the battery didn’t last very long and so I found this one which has a newer, Bluetooth technology and it has a really nice button and it can connect two devices at the same time I believe I haven’t tried it, but you compare two different devices. I’m not sure you can play to two different devices at the same time but I know you could at least pair two separate devices. I think the quality of this one the sound quality is better than the other one that I had.
I like this so much. I bought another one when it was on sale and when the battery gets low, I just switch it to the other one and then I charge this one, although I do believe you could charge this and listen at the same time so it’s probably not necessary in the battery on this one seems to last a good amount of time so I’m very happy with this. It looks really nice too. It kind of reminds me of my Apple Watch Ultra.

I am a musician who used a MIDI interface between the computer and the speakers. I wanted a way for me to be able to use a pair of wireless headphones in place of a pair that is wired. There is a 3.5mm jack on the back of the Interface, so I substituted the wired headphones and plugged in the Swiitech Wireless adapter. I paired the adapter with my headphones. No problem there, but when I used the DAW program that I use for recording, there is a significant latency between the program and what is heard.

For use in a car, computer or other non-bluetooth device it worked as advertised. So I give it a 5 STAR for the quality and ability to send a signal to two different wireless headphones, but for my specific need, it is sadly lacking.

I will not return it as I am sure it would be useable under "normal" conditions. The price is very reasonable, and the ability to use it as a wireless transmitter or wireless receiver is a bonus.

My specific Airpods are the the A3048 model and those are the ones I have working with the portal. Below are some of the other models in that same family.

AirPods Pro 2 with MagSafe Charging (USB-C)
Model number: A3047, A3048, A3049
Year introduced: 2023

To setup with the portal plug the 3.5mm audio cable into the back of the Portal. Make sure the Bluetooth adapter is set to “TX” mode. (There’s a switch on the side.)

After that turn on the Bluetooth adapter by holding down the middle button. You’ll see two blue lights, blinking back and forth, which means it’s in pairing mode. While in pairing mode, open your AirPod Case, keeping both headphones in the case and hold the button on the back of the AirPod Case until you see the AirPod Case blinking white. The Bluetooth adapter will automatically connect to your AirPods.

One thing to note is on the left side the Bluetooth adapter you may have to turn up the volume all the way, and then I just control volume from the Portal. My plan is to put a piece of two sided gorilla tape on the back of my portal and keep the Bluetooth adapter on there permanently. Hope that helps!

Awesome device but I noticed that 3 airlines I’ve used recently all had the Bluetooth capability on their entertainment systems so these might be obsolete for flights in the near future. Overall very reliable though. Battery lasted during my recent 14 hour flight but ran out halfway through my next flight. I totally forgot to charge during my 3 hour layover🤦🏻‍♂️ 😅charging is somewhat annoying at times, have to play with it in order to get good contact with certain cables. I noticed that using Anker and Apple C-type cables just don’t work like you’d think, I have to constantly adjust, remove, install cables to get good contact and then not touch it when it’s charging or else it’ll stop charging for some reason. Other than that it’s great.

Been reviewing this for several months now, having previously bought a similar device by the same company a few years back. I never had any substantial issues with the old model, and this improves on it.
Pairing is just as easy as the old model. It is also ble to pair with 2 devices simultaneously which made for a good time with me and the son having a late night gaming session. The weakest feature of this device, and all others I have tested is acting as a BT radio; the sound is passable for a set of headphones and even a BT speaker, but anything too hi-fi and you will hear some discrepancies. This has happened with every one of these 2 in 1 devices I have used over the years. This one may be the best, but still not without sacrifice.
But as a receiver it is a notch above the prior generation device. I used it in my room on my TV without fail. Auto connected when powered up, good range and sync as good as much more expensive devices.
The place I think this flies is in the car. I used it in 3 cars with aux inputs to connect a phone, and it was flawless. Not being designed for this is obvious; if you don't plug it into a constant power jack it will go dead and turn off when the (internal) battery drains, but is easy to turn on when power is provided. Kind of wish auto power up was an option for this use, even though it is not specifically designed for this scenario.
Reception has been great and the slight delay is not noticeable when used for audio alone. Once connected I have yet to lose it, and it quickly re-pairs with previously connected devices once powered on.
I also use it around the house with earbuds to allow me to continue "watching" a show when cleaning or walking about. With a good headset the delay is miniscule, about the same as my direct wired soundbar, and is only noticeable when watching something heavily talky, like a roundtable discussion or such. Would be great for sports fans who don't want to miss anything during a beer run or bathroom break.
Overall Swiitech has made a lot of good devices over the years and has become one brand I look to when buying anything they make. Customer service has been great the one time I needed it, and they have some weird promotions from time to time ( I wrote a review of an earlier product and they reached out and sent me another one to thank me for my review).
Overall I am happy with the device, it works as expected and without fail. The previous version of this I bought is still functioning fine after several years, so I have no problem believing this version will do the same.
