I found this product was worth every penny! It not only has the best sound in a small unit with bass and high notes sounding great but feels tough and built great. I used and compared my high end pc speakers to the Bugani m 118 with blue tooth that is offered and was very impressed with the range is about 60 feet and sounds great. Another great thing i love about is the mic jack for karaoke so cool . But if you want to use this great feature get a decent mic due to the fact if you have a cheap one you get echo from the unit even if you are far away. So i have gotten one with controls on the mic to rectify this problem due to using it for karaoke a lot. If you looking, this is the unit for you . You will be so happy you did.

Even at the full price this is an inexpensive speaker with lots of good quality sound, great bass and long battery life. I would of given this a 5 star rating except for receiving a defective unit on my first order, poor button visibility and difficulty opening accessory port cover in the back.

The first unit I ordered, the charge light never indicated when the unit was fully charged even after 24 hours of charging and the Bluetooth status stated it was fully charged. I returned it and ordered a second unit that arrived with no issues, plus as a bonus was on sale for $79.99 vs $129.99. More details about this Bluetooth speaker below.

Build And Finish
------------------
Unit appears to be sturdy and rugged with a nice matte finish. The carry handle is both rugged and easy to grip. The function buttons are easy to access although slightly hard to see what each button is labelled as because the labelling is just recessed impression on button with no colour. It's not a big deal as there are only 5 buttons and if you look at the right angle, you can easily see what they are for and you will quickly remember what each one does. However, if I was going to improve on it, I would have some colour on the button to make it easy to see. Left to right they are [POWER] - [MODE] - [PLAY/PAUSE] - [ - DOWN] - [ + UP]. The jacks and connections are accessed in the back of the device just below the handle behind a rubber cover that is a little hard to grip and remove but not difficult. Behind it you will find a USB power port, a USB charge port, music import via a 3.5mm jack and microphone in via a 1/4 jack.

Sound Quality

I am a musician (drummer), a DJ and had a career as an electronic technician and on all three counts I am impressed with the sound that is created by this unit. I own a lot of sound and PA gear and in a casual setting, this little unit provides more than enough sound and bass for a small crowd or small party, inside or out even at about 1/2 volume level. As a drummer musician and DJ its all about that bass and this speaker delivers a good bass sound I am pleased with.

Bluetooth Connectivity
----------------------------
When you first pair up and start streaming music, device does not play for the first 5 secs. My guess is it buffers the audio to avoid dropouts. Once you are paired with the speaker, it appears to reconnect pretty quick and easy. You can view battery charge state on your connected Bluetooth device in the Bluetooth connection status.

Sound Modes
----------------
The device has two sound modes and are changed by pressing and holding the [M] button a seconds until it beeps and switched modes. It beeps once to signify if you are in mode 1 (More Bass) or beeps twice if you are in mode 2 (More Treble).

Battery Life
---------------
Battery life seems great and although not measured, at a medium volume levels, the unit appears to be good to play all day on a full charge. Battery life is dependant on volume play levels and music type especially with heavy bass content. Bass low frequency sound consumes most of the power so to extend battery life, reduce bass output or lower volume levels. When battery gets low, the device beeps incrementally 1 to 4 times over a short time period and then shuts off but it does not give you much time between first warning and shutting down.

Battery Charging
---------------------
With included charge cable and normal USB charge source, unit charged at only 5v/0.38A. With a higher capacity USB power source, the unit charged at 5v/0.78A. With separate fast charge cable and high power USB source, unit charged at 9v/2.00A.

Unit appears to charge with CC-CV (Constant Current-Constant Voltage) charging cycle which is typical of a good quality LIPO battery charging circuit which means the battery quickly charges to 80% capacity then more slowly finishes topping up the last 20%. Keep this in mind if you are in a hurry to charge and go as 80% will still last you almost all day.

I am unsure exactly how long it takes to fully recharge the battery as it depends on your USB power source and USB cable. Charge time is drastically reduced (up to 5X faster) by using a high power USB charge source and high power charge cable. From low battery to full, my unit appeared to charge up to full in between 3-4 hours using high speed charge cable and 2A high power USB power block (9v@2A). I am guessing it was charged to 80% within between 2-3 hours.
