I had to use the optical cable method to hook it up but everything I needed came with the unit. It's exactly what I wanted. It's sound and volume is excellent and looks attractive and well made. The unit was on sale, plus a coupon, so it was a fantastic deal.

I am going to state from the start that at current sale price of $79.99 with an additional $20 coupon being offered (at the time of me writing this), I feel this product is fairly good value for money. To clarify, the full listing price is actually $89.99 which puts in up against a LOT of competitioin in this market category and I am not so sure that this product can justify an $89 price point. So,what are you getting here?...

This product arrives in professionally printed retail style packaging and the contents are very well packed to keep them protected. Along with the main Sound Bar speaker itself you get a handheld remote control, along with useful HDMI, Optical and Coax Digital Cables for making a digital audio connection, and simple wall mounting brackets. The addition of 3 different sets of audio cables is an appreciated touch.

Cosmetically, I feel this Sound Bar has a nice, clean look to it. The shell feels more than durable enough for its intended use and the 4 manual control buttons on the right hand side of the speaker have a good tactile feel. The unit is versatile in that it provides for Multiple Input possibilities: through HDMI ARC, Optical and/or Coax Digital, USB input port and Bluetooth 5.0 . If you want to use this with a TV and it has an HDMI ARC Audio OUT port, I would recommend that should be your preferred method of connection (use the included HDMI cable).

In actual use, this unit has decent sound output despite its relatively compact size. I really cannot confirm what the claimed output power of 100 watts per channel?. I found the sound quality to be acceptable given the price point.. much better than expected. I will clarify that while this has OK, 2.0 Channel sound quality, it does NOT do any type Dolby or DTS processing. It will accept your audio source input and convert it to virtual sort of "surround", but I would only think of this as a 2 channel speaker and nothing more. The additional ability of having the USB input along with BlueTooth 5.0 allows for other operating options which I appreciate.

Overall, I am pleased with this simple, compact device. It has good build quality, a generous amount of input possibilities and sounds good in simple applications. However, in the end I don't think that I can recommend this unit as a source of main audio for a Smart TV/"Home Theatre" scenario, if you are looking for "higher end" sound output. What I do think this smaller unit is better suited to is as an audio device paired with a PC and PC monitor display. I like that it can accept Toslink or Coax Audio, which would be perfect for use with Desktop PC that does not have and HDMI output supporting 2 Channel audio.

My overall rating for this is about 3.5 out of 5, given the discounted $59.99 price which I think is fair for the features offered. I ended up using this with a Desktop PC as I noted and a 24" 1080p Monitor which lacked internal speakers and I think it is well suited to that sort of role.
