Durable case, finally!
These are the first cases that actually worked for me. They are a bit stiff to fold into position, however, the tab insert keeps the steelbook resting nicely and sturdy inside the protector case. The annoyance of putting them together makes it worth while once it's set inside. Not sure if the protector will scratch the steelbook over time, with removing and whatnot, but I'm not a fussy steelbook collector, but I dont want to dent or scratch mine worse, that's for certain -- so this works perfectly for me. They are over a buck per case though, so that kinda sucks.

    It fits your standard Steelbook, and Criterion Standard packaging very well.
    This is the only protector I have used so far. The clips are not to hard to open once sealed (as I may have feared from reviews).

    If the steelbook has a slip cover it will not really fit. That being said the slipcover protects the steelbook well enough.

    These were awesome, came perfectly packaged, easy to assemble, and work great for my collection. Only negative aspect is the part of the holder that houses the spine is often where the seam of the case is glued/attached so there is a line through the spine when on the shelf.

    This protector will work on all standard Steelbook cases and there is some room for thicker cases if you have any. I tried wrapping this around my Arrow copy of The Flatliners with its velvety feeling slipcase, but it wouldn't fit. I think what I need to do is build the protector and let it take proper form before I attempt again. This product is what I was looking for to protect my 4K UHDs.
