    I was never a fan of demon souls. The combat was too slow for me and I didn't like the mechanics of using a shield. I also would get frustrated and rage quit often in demon souls, shunning the series entirely, vowing never to go back. Well, recently, I saw bloodborne was on sale and decided to take a chance, and am very happy with my purchase! Bloodborne has a more action, fast paced combat based on parrying, ducking, dodging, and weaving through opponents, slashing away with delight:). The hardest part about this game was the beginning. You have to learn the mechanics properly, but once you level up a little and learn the basics of the game then it isn't as hard as people say. I would say much easier for me than demon souls. The game is challenging and no doubt you will die hundreds of times on your quest to "get good", but if you own a ps4 this game is worth your time. The most important thing for me about this game is that I never felt cheated when I died. Every time I died it was because of a mistake that I made, not the game being excessively cheap as i felt demon souls was to me. Overall, this game has masterful level design/atmosphere, mesmerizing graphics, and is very unique game in the market today. A challenging, but very rewarding experience that has quickly took over the top of the list as my favorite game of all time.

    I think the atmosphere and the setting is just amazing. the combat is simple but the weapons are complex. one of the coolest thing is that the weapons can transform, giant hammer that can also be a sword. a caine that also turns into a whip. in terms of how this game tells its story it is very cryptic. i rather search on YouTube for that. this game is almost a masterpiece, why almost? because SEKIRO SHADOWS DIE TWICE is The masterpiece. this game is closed second. and if you loved how this game offers creativity and experimentation then you should also try elden ring because elden ring is pure fun and experimentation no hand holding. thank you for reading my boring review. bye.
