I used these T30 star drive screws to install stairway railings in my workshop, and they worked perfectly. I love the Torx style screw head!
These screws with the Torx head are the cats meow!
What I like best about these is that you can drive them into wood and reuse them several times, where as the Philips and the Robertson’s……..well not so much. These bit good into the wood and have a big enough head that you can add a washer or two, to make sure it doesn’t bury itself into your project. I’m fixing up a temporary dock that has 4x4 posts, and these screws just fly through them.
