Decent budget herb grinder, exactly what I expected, works as described, would buy again
This is your typical budget herb grinder available at all smoke shops but this is a better than average price (currently $11 CAD). Exactly what I expected and works as described. Would buy again. Metal build rotates smoothly to break up herbs and flower. Center has a magnetic pin on both side to pull the device closed when in use. ITEM: (Black) 2.5 inch Grinder, Kitchen Use [Brand: OWLSTEM]

I cook a lot and often make my own spice blends from scratch, so having a handy grinder is super useful for me. So far, this little one has been great—compact, sturdy, and very effective addition to my kitchen. The teeth of the grinder are sharp and handle whole spices like coriander, cumin, and cloves without much trouble. I get a nice, even grind every time, and the magnetic lid keeps everything secure while I’m using it. It also has a smooth turn that doesn’t strain my hand, even when grinding tougher spices. I really like the size too—small enough to store easily, but not so tiny that it feels flimsy or hard to use. That said, it’s not the same for my partner whose hands a bit larger than mine. For him, using the grinder is a little bit more tricky. Other that that, the after-use cleanup is quick, and the construction feels durable. If, like me, you're into cooking and want something small but reliable for your spice mixes, this one does the job really well.

This herb grinder is super compact and relatively easy to use. I do have a few complaints however. There is no holes in the top, once you grind up herbs if you want to store it in the bottom you need to very carefully take it apart and pray none falls out. Trying to use it without the base so you can dump it in instantly is even more messy. The ring in the base where herb is meant to be stored constantly falls off making it impossible to screw on. I'm lucky I got this to engrave and use as display, for that purpose it works fine. But I wouldn't recommend this for any actual use.

I like this little grinder for its small size, but for me, it needs to be a little thicker for people like me with larger hands. Holding it and trying to grind it is difficult due to its thinness. It does grind well enough for the products I need ground down to the size I want. Its small size makes it good for taking anywhere you need to go. I didn't have any difficulty grinding some peppercorns. The grinding teeth are certainly sharp enough to handlethat task. It is a decent grinder, lightweight, it just needs to be a little thicker.
The slim design and lack of grip makes this grinder very hard to use, I would imagine a person with large hands would struggle more than I did with it. It is decent for the price and works as advertised but it would be better if it was thicker.

Came promptly and in good condition. This is a very well-made item, no flaws I can detect. The colour and texture match the write up and are very appealing. It has a good weight to it, not heavy but feels solid in the hand. It is a good size for me, fitting well in my palm, allowing me to grind with ease. The two sections of the grinding platform are magnetized and hold together very well. There is also a small screw off section on the bottom for storage. Very satisfied, can recommend,

This is one sharp little grinder!
When closed, it looks like a solid piece of metal - there is no top or bottom indication anywhere. You are on you own! You need to break the magnetic hold that is keeping the grinder together. As soon as you pull the unit apart, you can easily see a top and a bottom.
Both the top and the bottom have a series of tall metal "towers" that fit close together. The way the grinder is designed, none of the metal blades make contact with each other, but place a small bit of -say - garlic in there, close the lid and rotate the two parts, those blades make quick work of grinding and pulverizing that garlic.
The amount of grinding the unit can do, is small. If you are cooking a large meal for a lot of people, this is not the device to be using, but for smaller groups, where you need or want, smaller amounts of spice or herbs, this can be an excellent option!
Under the bottom half, you will also find a small storage space...
The unit - with the bottom and top engaged - works very nicely back and forth. Just so you know, it can be a bit tricky to clean!
Bottom Line - An effective, small grinder for smaller amounts of herbs. Works great!

When I saw this, I assumed it was plastic and would eventually be a throw away. I was pleasantly surprised when it came and it was metal. This thing is solid and pretty sharp. It ground peppercorns for me quick handily. Happy with this product.

Too small with a place for the material that was ground to fall into. Basically you grind and dump it out constantly. I didn't even try to use it. I just returned it because of it's design.
