    TLDR: Installs easy, works great, toll free phone support with real knowledgeable human = yes, I recommend this.
    My previous Anti-virus software renewal fee tripled in price which was nasty just before Christmas in a Pandemic so I canceled it & bought Bitdefender. But the cancellation & subsequent product expiry prevented a complete uninstall & caused serious conflicts & warnings on my computer so I called Bitdefender's toll-free phone number in a panic & very calmly they brought my blood pressure down by listening to my problem first, asking some key questions & then sending me an avg uninstaller that cleaned my system quickly. This allowed Bitdefender to install perfectly & seamlessly into my system. I like that it gives me dialog boxes to tell me what's happening when I open new apps.
    Now the cons: If you're typing when that box opens it interrupts your text until you clear that box. Now I watch for it as it only happens the first time you open that app.
    The VPN is only a trial sized version limited in size but they'll gladly sell you the full version. That was kinda disappointing as it was one of the reasons I bought this package but it wasn't the only reason so as long as the rest of the software does what it says & protects me; I guess I'll have a VPN in my back pocket in case I need to turn it on.
    I'm not a sophisticated user, but I understand the need for protection & I believe Bitdefender will do that. I think what has really impressed me, after purchase, is the toll free phone support with a real knowledgeable human on the other side who BTW also emailed me again to make sure everything was working.
    There were NO extra charges or credit card numbers to enter - Just keep your SN card they send you handy.
    No I was not given incentives to write this. I'm just thanking them for being there for me.
