Since they are pre stretched, they should require little to no adjustment. There's plenty of length for any brake or gear usage. The end caps, ferrules and o-rings are great pieces to help prolong the life of the cable.

    If you own a bike or you’re the go-to bike mechanic in your household, chances are you’ll eventually need to replace a brake or shifter cable.

    This kit includes two of each, plus end caps and protective rings. It’s nothing fancy like the pre-stretched, ultra-polished cables you see in high-end setups - but unless you’re a serious cable snob, you likely won’t notice a difference. That said, these cables are no slouch. They’re made of braided stainless steel, and the tips appear to be fused to prevent fraying during installation.

    Bottom line: it’s a quality cable kit at a very reasonable price.
