Flimsy booklet that looks like a pirated copy. Very low quality, black and white copy of original, images all in dull and low resolution. Several images from original missing. Front cover shows that the upper right corner of the original (?) got bent in the scanner as image oddly warped in that spot. Should not be sold. Requested return and 鶹 was good about refunding.

    My grandmother sent this to me from Europe when I was a little girl. It was completely in German and my mother read it to me a couple of times. The stories are terrifying for what kids might be used to know. Each story title lesson in a rather grow some way. I would recommend for nostalgia or a collection. I wouldn't buy it for child. My ground son wanted it for nostalgic reasons so I bought it as a gift and he loved it. The quality is good. Certainly not the hardcover book that I had when I was little but nevertheless a decent book.

    I had this book originally when I was a child in Germany and was really fascinated by it but eventually it got lost. Beautiful book and great stories with morals. Could be scary for very young children but then I bought it for myself and my children who are in their twenties! Fascinating book and also now available in English - I'm going to purchase the translated copy too. A book to be browsed through again and again.
