This 4x1 Audio Switch is a simple and low tech way to switch between 4 RCA audio inputs to a single RCA out. This works great for my audio testing setup where I repair, test and enjoy my retro audio equipment like MiniDisc players, CD players, Cassette decks and portable audio devices. The output I connect to a Dayton Audio stereo amplifier, a compact amplifier with only a single RCA input. This audio switch allows me to connect up to 4 devices and direct them to my amplifier. The audio switch is passive and requires no power. Pressing in on one of the four input select buttons sounds like a thunk. While not the most refined way to switch inputs, it gets the job done and this low tech, old school approach means there should be not electrical interference or noise that is added to your audio. The audio switch enclosure is metal and feel solid. Overall, this audio switch is a great device for my use cases and works well.

This is a very simple device. There is no power to it. It is basically a switcher that works mechanically.

If you have ever found yourself in the situation of needing more stereo inputs, this is your quick, easy and economical solution. This Audio-Selector is a 4 input, 1 output switcher which will allow you to select your audio source at the push of a button.

All you do is plug your RCA cables (red/white) into the inputs and use a set of RCA cables for the output from this device and connect the output cables to the input of your stereo receiver.

What you actually end up with is the ability to add three extra components to your stereo system. You might ask why three and not four, since it has four inputs. This is because if your stereo jacks are full, you need to remove one set of RCA cables to make room for the input RCAs extending from the output of the switcher. Whatever component you removed will go into one of the inputs of the switcher.

The switcher works very well. I like that the casing is metal and not plastic.

I would highly recommend this switcher.

Lo mejor es que ofrezca tanto 3.5mm como RCA en todas las entradas y salida, que no es habitual encontrar en estos precios.
Además el look neutro de su construcción metálica en negro, sin adornos o florituras innecesarias permite integrarlo bien con otro equipamiento de audio.
En mi caso lo uso para seleccionar entre las entradas de mi piano electrónico, mi PC, y un portátil y enviar la salida a mis auriculares. Lo hace perfectamente, y creo que es mejor alternativa que un mixer pues al ser mecánico / pasivo no requiere corriente eléctrica, se eliminan cables y los transformadores y mixers de bajo precio son dados a crear problemas de sonido. Es mejor esto y me parece un equipo muy recomendable.

Economical buy to do what I wanted: get input from a music player to the other side of the room but cable+free via ia Bluetooth Tx and Rx, then expand the inputs of a rather old but good quality amplifier via it's "tape" input, at analogue "line level". Could have used it's "CD" input instead. Any analogue amp with an "aux* input should do as well. 'course there are sound bars but they tend to be expensive & there was the old HiFi. Cable run would be cheaper still and few problems at a few hundred mV and middling input impedance. The old amp just needed an extra input. I'm not a Hifi connoisseur mind, but maybe my setup might set off some new ideas here and there.

Rispetto a tutti gli switch che avevo inserito nella mia lista dei desideri ha la particolarità di permettere la connessione sia tramite connettori RCA che jack da 3,5mm, cosa che può rivelarsi particolarmente utile.
Casualmente però mi sono ritrovato a connettere sorgenti solo con cavi RCA quindi la mia recensione si limita a questo tipo di connessione.

Esteticamente non un campione di bellezza ma comunque piacevole, questo switch da un buona sensazione di solidità grazie al corpo in metallo, un buon peso e i selettori a molla dall'azionamento deciso (quindi un po' rumoroso).
Ma la cosa più importante è che mi è sembrato assolutamente trasparente una volta inserito nel mio impianto Hi-Fi e soprattutto "silenzioso" quando si cambia ingresso, cioè non aggiunge alcun rumore fastidioso al segnale audio che potrebbe nel peggiore dei casi danneggiare gli altoparlanti.

Qualcuno potrebbe obiettare che è troppo semplice non avendo il telecomando e i led che indicano il canale selezionato, ma secondo me sono tutte cose inutili che se presenti potrebbero comprometterne la resa audio.
Insomma, nella sua semplicità "spunta" tutte le voci importanti che uno switch dovrebbe avere, quindi non posso che consigliarvelo.
