Product Description

Micrometer Set

Micrometer is a more precise length measuring device than a caliper. Its range is 0 to 4’’ and the division value is 0.0001" . It consists of a fixed ruler frame, an anvil, a micrometer screw, a fixed sleeve, a differential tube, a force measuring device, a locking device, etc.

Note:

1) Please handle carefully

2) Wipe the measuring anvil and the differential cylinder clean to avoid the influence of chip powder and dust

3) Disconnect the measuring anvil and tighten the fastening screws to prevent rust from prolonged contact.

4) Do not install in places with high humidity and large temperature fluctuations

5) It is forbidden to use micrometers to measure running or high temperature objects

6) It is strictly forbidden to use a micrometer as a caliper or hammer to hit other objects.

    Way out of calibration out of the box. Calibration block aren't accurate either, they are all about .0050 off when compared to actual calibrated blocks and measured with proper equipment

    I'm fortunate enough to have the tools at work to calibrate them but I wouldn't use them otherwise for precise measurements

    The 1-2 inch micrometer was actually metric I contacted Beilong and they immediately came back to me to remedy the situation and in order to do so i sent them my address via e mail but 鶹 keeps blocking them. Getting hold of anyone at 鶹 to find out what the problem is , is impossible. My orders stop until this is fixed by someone.
