1. ON \ OFF ... SET: ONOFF and set button. Press the button briefly, switch the device on and off, press this button for a long time and set the zero to "0.25,50,75". "Hold down the button to alternately display several zero values Key when one of the zero values is displayed The zero value is the currently displayed value.

2. ZERO: Zero button. Press the button. The data will be used as default starting value (0.25,50,75).

3. ABS ... in / mm: Relative and absolute scale conversion key, metric and inch conversion key. Press this button briefly to perform the absolute measurement and the relative dimension conversion "In" and small font "5", it will be displayed in inches.

    I've had it for a couple of months and the accuracy is fine for home use. I compared it to some test shims at work with a couple of calibrated Mitutoyo micrometers and the Beslands was +/- 0.03mm which for what I'm doing is perfectly acceptable.

    Seems to be well made and of better quality than some others I've seen at a similar price point.

    I should also mention that the customer service from Beslands was fantastic. Quick to respond, friendly and solved a minor issue ASAP. Thank you.

    Initially I've used another tool to do valve clearance adjustments and I failed due to big difference in measurements. In second attempt I've got this micrometer and it worked great for me. Not sure if this would be a great for professional mechanics, I guess they would buy a more precise and expensive one, but for a DIYer this would do the job for sure. Just an advise: before use check the tool with your filler gauges to make sure it works.
    A bit pricy, but was worth for me. I better spent 50$ for this instead of 30$ for the first tool(total garbage) plus 50$ for this one.

    Purchased both this and a Mitutoyo at the same time. This micrometer consistently measured 0.003mm less than the Mitutoyo, but was just as consistent. It also seems to hold it's zero quite well. The build quality is obviously cheaper than the Mitutoyo but it is good enough for me as I'll only be using it to do valve checks every 20,000km. Returned the Mitutoyo.

    The one I recieved appears to be repackaged. No protective film on display and the display has scratches. The protective zip lock bag it was in (inside the plastic case) wasn't even sealed...it only came with one battery as well...not two as advertised...probably used by the previous owner. I would've given this product more stars had I recieved a new one. Now I can't trust the accuracy because I'm sure it was returned for a reason.
