Decent sized bottle. I bought this mainly for mosquitos but it is great that it will repell ticks as well. Bought a few bottles to be well prepared for mosquito season!

    A more concentrated oil to prevent tick bites. I spray on hands and apply to exposed skin. Look for 12 hour spray. Suitable for adults to repel ticks. I use in concert with a 30% deet spray as it is effective against blackflies, deerflies, horse flies and mosquitoes. Check labels. May not be suitable for babies, children and pregnant or nursing moms. Check with your doctor for contraindications. Very effective in forested areas and long grass.

    I used Ben's Deet all summer last year and almost managed to stay bite free, with the exception of few enthusiastic and persistant Mosquito's managed to bite me. I ordered large and small 6 hours protection and couple of 12 hours protection to use when on longer hikes. This product is the best I have used so far.

    I can't really review whether or not it repels insects as there hasn't been enough mosquitoes to try it thoroughly, but I will say that my particular bottle's lid ended up leaking the product when it was laid sideways for a few weeks. Messy to clean it up.

    It does however go on and dry up fast, and the smell only lasted for about five minutes before most of it went away. It will however leave residue on your wooden floors, so be sure to apply outside.

    no greasy feeling lasts at least 6 hours don't know about ticks have yet to see one , seems to work well on the blood sucking mosquitos and black flies as have yet to be bitten by one of them while using this product . odd thing is the local hospital just sent out a warning about ticks and tick bourne disease , arrived just in time

    *update* After 2 weekend long camping trips with ticks around, I can say without a doubt that where I sprayed this, the ticks completely avoided! Great product that my friends were even using.

    I live where ticks have been getting worse and worse every year and I like to go camping 2 to 3 times a year. Thankfully in the city we don’t really have ticks, it’s extremely rare. But once you go to the country holy cow it can get intense. I used to just spray strong mosquito spray on my socks and pants which does work but this formula seems to at least match that effectiveness if not better.

    I will have a better idea of how this works when ticks are at their peak in about a month but so far so good.
