Awful visibility
1 out of 5 stars
Awful visibility
Awful visibilty due to the packaging. The net is wrinkled and you always see thos black line. There's no way to strech the net and made it dissapear. Really disapointed. Also the net is very short at the back of the neck. You should absolutly wear a top with a colar.

Good net with super small mesh to keep out even the tiniest bugs but the elastic at the crown makes it way too tight for wide brimmed hats. For ballcaps this would be great but for sun hats or bucket hats I recommend another brand that possibly rhymes with Flea to Flummit -- no elastic and way roomier.

Took this camping and hiking all last year and also to start this year. Does a great job and there is plenty of extra net to tuck under your sweater/jacket collar. Make sure you wear a brimmed hat underneath, so that the material is not draping across your face and ears (that's where the skeeters will getcha). Packs up ultra small and can fit into any pocket or bag compartment. I would say this is a must-have piece of kit if you're outdoorsy at all and are susceptible to bites.

If you’re like me and hate having insecticide chemicals on your skin, get one of these nets. Fitted well over hats and caps.

I now have several of these, I keep them in all my packs and in my glovebox. You never know when the bugs are going to start bothering you and it's a simple lightweight and easy solution to keep them off your face and out of your ears. I recommend using this over a baseball hat to keep it off your face.

This is the first bug net I've owned . It seems to be an ok product but is it worth the price? Maybe since it does stay on my ball cap. I wish it laid further away from my face and less wrinkles. They can be removed by pulling it down and tight but then it gets tighter around my head and face. I doubt any insect could get through the mess holes because they are nearly impossible to see. That alone deserves 4 stars. We also have a lot of bees, wasps and hornets so I'm hoping this will keep them from stinging me. It's bad year for insects of all types so this was must buy. There are a few less expensive ones which might be as good but this seems like decent quality to withstand constant use. This is too small to fit larger hats and is way overpriced compared to Canadian Tire bug nets

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great! Esp for black flies and skeeters...

I hate wearing nets while fishing. This one worked well for saving me from the hordes of black flies in Quebec and Labrador. I bought 3 more when I came home, including a white one to lessen the heat of sun on your head/face while wearing it. The nice thing about the Ben's product is you can flip the front up over your face, ball cap to breath or get a happy pic with fish....

5.0 out of 5 stars Like a ForceField to Gnats!!

I am working as a boat inspector at the local boat launches as my summer gig this year. I like the job, but the gnats were driving me absolutely insane!! Bug spray kept the mosquitoes and biting flies away but the gnats just laughed at the spray and giggled as they bit my ears and neck. This product has saved my sanity for sure. It fits well over my baseball hat that I have to wear for the job and the netting is long enough to tuck into my shirt or sweatshirt so my neck is protected. I can see through the mesh to read or do work on my computer. I would recommend this product if you need to be outside and want to keep the insects away from your head. Best money I've spent all summer.

I am concerned about the durability, but time will tell. Kept the bugs off of my face. It works better with a hat on to keep the netting away from the face.

PRO: This is a black net. Black is the only color you can see through without impairment. Don't get the green head nets.

Did a canoe trip in Minnesota, and the mosquitoes were thick. If I hadn't had this net I would have been miserable. The only tip is you really need a broadbrimmed hat to spread the net out, as if it's flat against your face you'll get bit through the net.

3.0 out of 5 stars Mesh is too fine.

The mesh could be larger and still keep out mosquitoes. Larger mesh allows more air flow and better visibility. There are better products out there.
