Types of Kumihimo Disks
The Kumihimo Disk & Mini Kumihimo Disk
The Kumihimo Disk is 6" in diameter & the mini Kumihimo Disk is 4.25" and both are made of 3/8" dense foam. The disks creates a rounded braid.
The Kumihimo Plate
The Kumihimo Plate measures 5.5" x 5.5" and is also made of 3/8" dense foam. The plate produces a round or flat braid.
Double Density Kumihimo & mini Kumihimo Disks
Kumihimo Double Density Disks are made of 3/4" (20mm) thick foam—double the thickness! Added tension created by the thickness is useful when braiding Tex 135 S-Lon, #12 Pearle silk, and 30G (or smaller) wire.
64-Slot Double Density Kumihimo Disk
Kumihimo Double Density Disk with Double the Slots. 64 slot - 6" (20mm) thick for even more complex round braided designs.
