Big mistake, trying a product that sounded equal or maybe better than our go to brands.
They do NOT break apart easily. They do not light as easily. They are very small, if you can actually get them to break apart in the poorly scribed lines.
We will have to use them the next few days until a more suitable product arrives so we are not going to try and return a partially used box.
Very disappointing. Very frustrating. Very poor product.

We have a little cabin in the wilderness. Although there is plenty of wood and starting a fire is easy enough, these little firestarters make it so much easier! I just wrap one in a bit of newspaper, put a few logs on top, light the newspaper and - voila! - you have a roaring fire in minutes! Remember, the logs should be split.
This method also works great in a woodstove. I have always had trouble starting a fire in the woodstove - not anymore!
