    Ok yes, I have ordered all the books in the Ice Planet Barbarian series so they can all be on my bookshelf. I have 0 shame. If you want a fun, easy to read, smutty book about blue aliens, then go no further. You have found what you need. I definitely recommend them :)

    Did not like this one because of the heroine. Her flirty attitude towards all men is a turn off to me. What she did to the hero is very displeasing. She rejected him in the beginning and when he ignored her she decided she wanted him after all. I feel bad for the hero here because he wanted a serious relationship with a human who is so used to having casual flings. These barbarians actually have more moral values than humans. They are are lucky they are rare otherwise these barbarians deserves more than these fickle humans! And now with the arrival of 16 women the situation now is reversed! There are more women now than men. Probably we will see women chasing the men now in the next book.

    Another great addition to the series. Characters are always very believable. Never written to be "perfect people" but very real with 3D personalities. And as always a great HEA. Each book has its own full story but there is an overall story thread that runs through the whole series so the books are best read in order. Now for the hard part... waiting for the next book from this amazing author! I believe her next book is from her awesome dragon series. Can't wait!

    Brooke & Taushen have a tumultuous courtship. First she get roofied then, she’s thought to have collaborated with the kidnappers. Poor Taushen gets his fondest wish then she tells him “no just friends”. Talk about mixed messages. He’s just so sweet adorable and clueless so when Brooke changes her mind about “friends” he’s not taking her not too subtle hints. Drama ramps up with the new arrivals. He decides to remove Brooke from the area so she can’t resonate to a newcomer. Her love lessons are quite entertaining and he’s a more than willing student. I read this using my KU subscription.

    I love this series. Each time I see that a book has been released I jump for joy. Taushen and Brooke start off with angry sparks flying between them. Brooke is unsure what she wants but Taushen knows exactly what he needs and wants. Sexual tension builds and ...sigh ... wish I had me some blue barbarian alien. These big males really spur me on. Another five star rating from this gal. You keep writing, Ruby, and I'll keep reading.

    This was a great book by Ruby Dixon, as usual. The plot had a great pace, the love scenes spectacular, I just love this world so much. Nothing negative to say, f you haven't read the Barbarian series yet, I would highly, highly recommend it! One of the best, if not they best alien series out there. Hope you enjoy!

    My oh my I don't know how it's possible with 16 books into the series but they just keep getting better and better. I was blown away, this book was SCORCHING HOT it literally starts with a bang! When I read Tauchen's and Brooke's first scene together my mouth went dry as if I'd decided to take a stroll through the desert, my skin felt as if it was going to melt right off into a pile of goo it was that HOT. The hottest scene without a doubt between any of our tribe members so far, damn was it intense! Tauchen has grown up and changed a lot, though not entirely for the better it seems, he's lost his happy and easygoing approach to life and become bitter and melancholy about being the last male in the tribe still waiting to resonate to anyone and truly believes that it will never happen for him. He was such a sweetheart and my heart hurt for him, being the last one left having watched all of your friends resonate time and time again as the years pass you by and seeing every available female get snatched up until only two remain and your heart sets its sight on one you truly want and still nothing was heart breaking. I think because of how I felt for him I saw Brooke in a less than flattering light, to be honest I thought she was a huge b**** at first. But after having read her side of things I realized what happened between them wasn't her fault, that if she wasn't ready for anything and just wanted to be friends and enjoy being single for awhile she had a right to do so. It was lovely seeing the bond between them grow as they got to know each other and her finally seeing what a wonderful male he really was. This story was so full of funny moments, Brooke had an exceptionally wicked and dirty mouth you couldn't help but laugh at the things she thought and said, she was hilarious. We're also introduced to the new members of the tribe, the human females and alien males that were found on the Tranquil Lady have been awoken giving us so many possibilities for more books to come. An extremely enjoyable story and a series that shouldn't be missed.

    Listen I know several aspects of these books are the same but they're done in such a way that it doesn't feel tedious to read which is great! It's a new story each time and each one is just as interesting as the previous...Taushen is my favorite male this far and Brooke is exactly how I would be in certain situations but also she make me so mad...actually all the women make me mad like y'all have been around long enough to know EXACTLY how things are with these men so why do they keep acting surprised or offended or the I just wanna be my own person and make my own decisions but 5 pages earlier were just talking about how all the women are clearly so happy and then men dote on them and how you want that...like YOU KNOW WHAT RESONANCE MEANS WHY ARE YOU ACTING OFFENDED NOW?! That being said Brooke doesn't anger me the way a few others did and I am glad because I wasn't frustrated throughout this book with the mfc like I was on several others. Their pairing is cute and works perfectly but then again the cootie knows what it is doing duh! I really liked this book and am happy with how it played out. Taushen is a sweetheart and deserves the best!

    As Brooke and Taushen were held captive by alien slavers Brooke got a strong aphrodisiac from them and had wonderful sexual experiences with Taushen. Taushen thought she was his mate, but Brooke told him, it was just the drug and it was a one-nught-stand for her. Then they are freed by Warrek and Summer and now they have an awkward situation between them. As Rokan tells him, Brooke is going to resonate to somebody soon, Taushen steals her away, so they can be alone together in a cave ......
    I loved to read the book. Brooke is a tough selfmade woman, but in relationships she is very insecure. Ms. Dixon does a very good job about explaining Brookes and Taushens characters and how these influence the building of the relationship. Partly it's also humorous, because Taushen is so full of innocence and joy. I highly recommend this book.
