Non-drying but effective cleansing
I have used multiple D’alba products so far, and I have not been disappointed. They are pricey, but I find them all worth the price. This cleanser works really well for me. I only use light makeup, if any, so I can’t tell if it is effective in removing all the make-up, but my skin feels clean after using it day and night. It lathers well and it doesn’t feel heavily fragranced, but it still smells pleasant. For me, the selling point of this cleanser is the fact that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry unlike many other cleansers in market. I highly recommend trying this cleanser out as well as their other skincare products and sunscreen products.

    This is an extremely gentle facial cleanser that is gel-like when first pumped out of the bottle & then morphs into a lather. I like to see a lather in a rinse off cleanser, it's a personal preference. I like to be able to see & make sure I've cleaned the entire surface of my face &/or neck & a lather allows me to accomplish that.

    The box comes sealed & has all the ingredients listed on one of its sides along with directions on "How to Use" & "Cautions". On the bottom there is the date of Manufacture with the date of Expiry.

    This cleaner has a very low PH level on the PH scale. It gets very dry in the winters here in the colder parts of Canada & it really negatively affects the skin. So, this is the perfect cleanser to help combat that condition.But the low PH level makes it great for year round usageespecially for those people with sensitive skin or people who just want to make sure they're using something safe, hypo-allergenic, & tested & registered vegan, & with a Dermatest seal of "Excellent" & I can go on but it's all there on the descriptionpage.

    My skin looked & felt great (it didn't have that yucky dry/tight feeling) after using it which was a relief. It claims to provide "mild exfoliation" in addition to being "soothing", "calming", "moisturizing" - all things that I want to see on something I'm going to be using on my face.

    I have not been using this cleanser for a significant period of time for me to notice any long-term benefits of side-effects. Once I have & if I do notice anything that falls on the Pro or Con category I'll be back here to update.
    For now though, it gets a 5 Star rating from me.

    Fora regular price of $48 you get 200ml which is 6.76 Fl. Oz. However, currently, at the time of this writing there is a coupon for $22 off! Yes, I had to look twice. If there's a time to try this cleaner - now would be it.
