This back up camera is awesome! We installed it in our 1988 Roadtrek van which is a small motorhome. We did not hook up the wires to the back-up lights but there is a link to a video for instructions for this. It can be hooked up so the camera comes on when the vehicle is put into reverse, or you can use the on-off button on the plug which is how we set it up. My husband installed the camera above the back doors and even with it being up there the back-up lines are accurate. The picture on the monitor is clear and it��s a perfect size: big enough to see clearly and small enough to not take up too much space. I haven��t changed anything in the settings on the monitor because it was perfect when we first turned it on.. It came with full set of instructions with pictures and wiring diagrams that are easy to understand and follow. There are links to additional wiring instructions and there are also YouTube videos to watch for installation instructions. We��ve only had 1 trip so far with it on our van and have had no issues

This camera works very well for us. Installation was simple as far as the device itself, the actual vehicle involved provided the challenges. The display is clear and bright, even in daylight at the driver's position. Night brightness is adequate for maneuvering. I put it in a large E-350 passenger van and the length of wire was enough, but there was only maybe 300 mm (12 inches) extra. The screen size is adequate; a larger size was not needed and would be less handy 8n the dash area. The only warning is the wires in the power cable (to be connected to the reversing light circuit) are very fine. I chose to solder the connections rather than use the included t-tap connectors, which I don't care for.

This product was easy to install. Took me about 40 min - an hour. It was always so difficult to reverse I park in a parking lot. Especially in the night as I had my back windows tinted. Now this camera makes it so much easier when reverse parking! And backing out of a parking lot. Took me about 5 mins to get the camera on the license plate, all you have to do is remove the screws, put the camera on, and screw them all back together. Running the wires was a bit difficult getting all the pins out for my car interior but with a flat head screw driver, it make things much more easier. The night vision has shocked me, I didn��t expect it to be so clear, it has 6LED lights on the camera that help with the night vision. But also wuen looking at the camera with the lights on, it makes the car look so decorated. Definitely recommend!! Will be purchasing another one for my wife��s car!

Item works great, was fairly easy to install on a 2010 f 150 The cable was plenty long enough, I routed it along the main wire harness zip tying it to the harness as i came up into the engine compartment just off the side of where the harness goes through the firewall, I drilled a 3/8ths hole to put wire through and I put silicone in the hole.
on the left side of the dash there is a panel that i took off, very easy it just snaps out, ran the cable up to the dash and replaced the panel. I then mounted the screen right there tucked in the corner of windshield,

Picture is very clear I set it up to work only in reverse. The camara is a little bigger than I thought it would be but by no means a deal breaker, install time was about 2 hours for an f 150. Perfect for a vehicle that has no backup camara. The bracket that holds the screen was well made compared to somethings i have bought in the past, all in all good bang for your buck
