Real hastle removing plug on bottom of my APC 425 UPS, that completes circuit; had to use pliers to get it out. Had to purchase long, skinny shaft, Philips (#1?) screwdriver bit to get 4 screws out of base of my APC 425 UPS, & use a pair of pliers to grip spade connections to remove them from the old battery (they really held on). Apart from that, pretty easy replacement. A bit of fiddling with wires when putting the replacement battery in, but not too bad. Reinstall base & secure with screws, plug that circuit completion plug in again, turn it right side up, plug the AC cord in & power it up. No issues, so far; works fine!
