Similarly to this brands clamp version, I was very pleased with the joints and overall durable construction of this of this Pocket Series 3 suction cup mount for action cameras by brand BRDRC. Generally, what you see is what you get, and I can say it's a solid choice, for most reasons you might want a mount like this. There is a small issue though, and it's identical to what I perceive to be a common production flaw. The rubber pad that rests on the mounting plate is always, as usual, a significant issue across most brands, whether they are well known or not. I don't really understand why, but it really seems as though don't actually try actually mounting an action camera to their own accessories... The overall product is great, except for this rubber pad. As I have noted, the rubber completely breaks under the pressure of firmly attaching a camera, particularly if you have a metal cage installed around it. I have said it before, it is easily as destructible as a foam pad, for all the good it will do to keep your camera firm and stable. Once you begin to tighten a camera in a solid, firm way to the base plate, it simply does not last under pressure. Other than this, I think the suction of the cup is amazing for this product, and that part alone is worth your time and money. It’s good enough that I can use it on any glass surface for some unique video shots, and I don't see why it wouldn't attach to other surfaces as well that are flat, though I have currently only tested on glass. It's just that terrible rubber pad that bothers me, otherwise I may have considered rating this 5 stars. But the way it is, I am only able to offer 4.     Had this mounted inside my car over night and it fell and tripped my alarm. I would not trust this outside. My car is a 2024 with under 1000km and cleaned regularly. The glass is clean as can be. If it can fall while parked, I can’t imagine it will stay while moving.

    Ich nutze dieses Produkt auf meinem Boot – und das unter durchaus rauen Bedingungen auf See, aber auch bei ruhigem, sonnigem Wetter. Insgesamt bin ich absolut zufrieden.

    Ein einziges Mal hat sich das Material leicht gelöst – und zwar bei einem extremen Wetterumschwung: Von rund 36 Grad in der Sonne fiel die Temperatur innerhalb von fünf Minuten auf etwa 15 Grad, begleitet von starkem Wind, Gewitter und Hagel. Ob es die plötzliche Abkühlung, der Hagel oder das Zusammenspiel aller Einflüsse war, kann ich nicht genau sagen – aber die Bedingungen waren wirklich außergewöhnlich.

    Ansonsten hat sich das Produkt absolut bewährt: Selbst bei einem Sturm mit Windgeschwindigkeiten über 50 km/h hielt es problemlos stand. Ich setze es nun schon seit mehreren Monaten ein, und bis auf diesen einen Zwischenfall hat es sich als absolut zuverlässig erwiesen.

    Für mich ganz klar: volle Punktzahl und eine eindeutige Empfehlung!

    I needed several camera holders to hold my phone and my Gopro cameras.

    I like this suction cup holder because the suction is very strong and the connecting arm is also easily adjustable and does not get loose even after a long bumpy car ride. I also liked the included components that makes it easy to hold my phone and action camera.

    The suction cup mechanism relies on a switch(?) that is nicely designed. I found it to be easier to operate than a different suction cup phone holder that relied on a weird twisting motion.

    The arm(?) and ball bearing parts also held firm after I twisted the middle knob into position. It's not made out of cheap plastic so I expect this to last a long time.
