This pedal is very compact, intuitive and versatile. It fits nicely in my BOSS BCB60 pedalboard. You can choose different drum sets like Studio, Live, Light, Heavy, Rock, Jazz, Brushes, Cajun, R&B, Dance, Tecno, Hip-hop, 808, 809. The rhythm section has 4 tracks (intro+track1+track2+ending) an the loop section has 2 tracks (track1+track2). Both sections can be synchronized or independent. This one is must have in your loop rig. Great product and service.

    So far so good. I bought it without testing one. I relied mostly on reviews and videos and I got to say the peddle is perfect for what I need it for. I don't performer with a looper but I do use it to practice and write songs. It's fairly easy to use, I still haven't gotten the hang of coming in on time with the intro drums track when I have it on the rhythm and loop mode. I wish it hand a better lead in either by extending the intro track or giving us a click lead in. Also, it's probably just practice and getting use to the machine. Overall, it's a fun loop pedal. Lots of drum tracks and memory.

    Most products from Roland are terrible. This is one is not an exclusion. Hey Roland, what is your problem is it hard to make software which is working? Rhythm Converter is not working at all... Probably going to return.
    All other functions are good. But I wanted to be able to add my own rhythms, that's why I paid the price.

    So far I have only used it a little and like what I have experienced so far. I have only just touched on the features of this unit so this rating could easily go up to a 5 or could drop based on how it performs. 鶹 needs to hold off on emails asking for ratings on this type of item until the buyer has a chance to fully use and evaluate all the features. I found a lot of the rhythm patterns very similar sounding but have only tried a few so for . There are very few 3/4 time and only one in 6/8 time but in all fairness I would only use these time signatures for a couple of songs.
    My Rating and review might change after I use it more.

    I had bought a Donner Circle looper and I liked it. It worked perfectly, except that it didn't work when plugged into a Linux computer, and I wanted a second track (or at least the ability to extend a loop while overdubbing). So I returned it and got this big boy.

    The technical specs and capabilities here are great. It works drag-n-drop with Linux, even to update firmware. However, navigating it is tedious. It doesn't autosave, so good luck if you forgot to write your idea before unplugging the power. The frustrating part is trying to actually use the pedal as a looper. It just doesn't feel intuitive, and switching between the two loops isn't easy to get used to. I dunno why the Donner looper felt so much better. All I know, is I was pretty disappointed by this ultra-expensive looper. And the drums sound very lifeless (though a touch better than the Donner's), so it's hard to be inspired by them. I also didn't like the fact that the volume seemed too quiet; when I'd try to play along with a loop, my guitar would drown it out, even at max settings. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but the Donner didn't have that issue.

    Anyhow, I regretfully returned both and will try one more brand. If that one sucks, I'm done with loopers!

    +1) A mi oído, tiene una calidad de sonido estupenda, la grabación y reproducción suena perfecta.
    +2) Tiene 301 patrones de ritmo grabados en un estudio con un sonido que me parece inmejorable. Y varios drumkits. Excelente.
    +3) Tiene un tiempo de looper de horas.
    +4) Te permite crear backing tracks o bajártelos de BOSS Tone Central http://bosstonecentral.com/trackset/category/rc-10r/
    +5) Lo puedes conectar y sincronizar con MIDI. Yo no lo he hecho todavía.
    =1) No tiene bajo. Si necesitas un bajo puedes grabar una canción entera como backing track o mirar el Digitech Trio+ (que también tiene sus limitaciones pero es mas barato) pero no lo voy a considerar negativo por estar fuera de lo que uno busca en este producto.
    =2) Tiene dos "pistas". Si la canción es estrofa+estribillo, genial. Si no, tendrás que trabajar a ver como lo consigues. Viene bien tener unos pedales como los FS-6 o equivalente. Esto tampoco es negativo. Si quieres mas pistas busca otro looper que las tenga, y págalo. Puede que pierdas la parte del ritmo.
    -1) El ritmo hace un fill-in cada 4 u 8 compases, y hay un montón de canciones que tienen un compás de relleno o no se adaptan a ese esquema. El caso es que a veces te encuentras un fill-in en mitad del compás que no pinta nada.
    -2) Las gomitas que se pegan por la parte de debajo para proteger el suelo, se mueven y se despegan. Es un problema que he visto en otros artículos de BOSS. Usa otras desde el principio.
    Me ha salido 5 positivos, dos "=", y los 2 negativos son de importancia menor. Disfrutadlo.

    Wegen Coronabeschränkungen konnte ich mich schon monatelang nicht mehr mit Mukikerfreunden zum Jammen treffen. Vmusikalisch vereinsamt und frustiert war ich bereits - mit diesem einfach zu bedienenden looper hat sich meine Stimmung wieder verbessert.. damit wird man sozusagen zur Band.
