BOHS Knob Cylinders

Educational Purpose

Teaching Colours and Sizes: A fun toddler puzzle that teaches sizes and colours!
Pincer Grip and Coordination: This activity also helps the child develop his or her pincer grip, which is necessary for holding a pencil correctly.
Comparative Language: Play with toddlers as they work on it; they can use lots of great vocabulary such as tall/er, short/er, wide/r, and thin/ner, which helps to develop language skills.
Motor Skill Development: A great toy for motor skill development, logical thinking, and problem solving
Elderly Person's Rehab: Great for kids during their developing times and for adults who are in rehab.

Presentations

Invite the child to hold the knobbed cylinder.
Layout the mat from left to right and place the knobbed cylinders on the top of the mat.
Take out all the cylinders serially from left to right by holding the knobs with the help of three fingers of the right hand and placing them on the mat.
Pick up one knobbed cylinder with your right hand and give it to your left hand, then feel it with your right hand with two fingers; feel the rim also. Now again, give it to your right hand and put it in the hole.
