5.0 out of 5 stars Geschenke

5.0 out of 5 stars I Didn't Know My Frisbee Golf Game had Any Room for Improvement!
Verified PurchaseI like my Wii and I use it a lot! I have the Wii Fit Plus and the Resort Game. I had two of the older style remotes, but one died early on, so for the last 3 years I've been living with one remote. Gaming was good and frisbee golf is a favorite pasttime, but two person games always looked like another way to add some fun with some hand to hand competition. I saw these remotes that incorporate the remote into a single unit and read a few reviews. It seemed that everyone had good things to say about them so I thought I would give them a try since I needed another remote anyway. Am I glad that I did! All the good things that everyone said is true and then some. These are easier to sync up with the Wii unit and their action is more responsive to your movements which leads to better scores and more fun. Their battery life seems to be better also and I've left them on batteries as I'm still on my original batteries and they're still reading full charge and someone plays this thing almost every day for at least 30 minutes if not more. One problem that vexed us constantly with the old remotes was the constant interruption in games while the remotes tried to reorient themselves. That problem is gone completely. I highly recommend these to upgrade your play.

4.0 out of 5 stars BLUE - More like Teal, and what's up with the cost?
Verified Purchase** While this review is for the BLUE remote... We actually have the PINK one as well and it's color is true to description. All else in this review applies to it as well. **
Summary: Works well, color is more "teal" than "blue". And why is it so expensive?
Pros:
- Works perfectly with the Wii and all accessories (existing nunchucks, handles, etc)
- Slight texture to underside of remote gives grip when silicone cover is not used
- Each player can have their own "color" remote so there is less fighting over who has which remote
- Nintendo Brand
Cons:
- Cost (especially when you can order a Nintendo Branded Black Wii Remote Plus that comes WITH a game for HALF the price)
Review:
The color on this remote is more like a teal color than a traditional blue. That's a minor complaint, but you'll want to know before you get it since you are paying extra (compared with the black Wii Remote Plus) for the color. The pink version is spot on as far as color. Speaking of money... I don't really like the cost of these colored remotes, it seems a little high when you can actually get a good ole black Wii Remote Plus that includes a game (look for Wii FlingSmash) for about HALF the price? You can also get a black Wii Remote Plus with Wii Motion Games for about $50. Both of these games are nice to have around, especially if you are getting them with a remote for the price of a remote by itself!
These remotes have a slight texture to the underside of the remote (rather than the glossy plastic on the original Wii Remote Plus). This gives the remote a little extra grip when used without the clear silicone cover.
As expected, it paired effortlessly with the Wii console and is very accurate on each axis.
Overall, this is an excellent remote. Minor gripes include color is not really BLUE and the cost is excessive compared with black version.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, but with one small caveat.
Verified PurchaseThe blue Wii Remote Plus works as intended, but there is one caveat: many of the controllers here sold appear to be Japanese, based on three sellers I tried out here. I could tell this from the inside of the battery cover. However, a Japanese Wii Remote Plus would still work on a North American Wii without problem. Just be wary of this small caveat if you buy ones here.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not tested or refurbished!
Verified PurchaseThe outside of the remote seemed fine but upon opening it I realized it was both dirty and had corrosion. I tried to put in batteries but I had to clean it out myself so that it would turn on. Once I connected it to my Wii U I decided to see if it worked by playing wii sports. It seemed fine at first but after a while of using it I noticed that the motion controls were off. I would hold it to the left and it would think I was holding it right and it would stop moving. I recalibrated it and it seemed fine but after a few seconds I was having issues with the motion controls again. I would not recommend this to anyone. Not worth the money.
