I've owned this same unit before, and "enjoy" using it lol. It's perfect for an apartment that has a mixture of rugs and hardwood. It has great suction power - I use the diffuser for my more delicate rugs. It's easy to put together, and easy to clean. Note its short power cord, and the cannister can get quite warm after you've vacuumed for a while (same with my other one). The unit arrived a couple of days before I was expecting it, but as I'd checked the package tracker that morning was home to receive it - awesome!
