Inconsistent, and different with doctor's office and other professional devices' readings

We bought this device for the automatic inflation of the cuff.

The cuff is just too wide for normal sized arms, and inconvenient to adjust. But that is something minor.

We've been both (husband and I) taking readings on this unit and comparing them to the ones on our older Omron blood pressure monitor, doctor's office and pharmacy devices' readings, and they are too far apart. For example it showed an astounding 178 reading for my husband, whose blood pressure is well under control and at under 135, and my readings are astronomical too, like over 150, despite I had never been diagnosed with high blood pressure, all while having regular readings at home and with our doctor.
We went to the extent of taking the machine to the pharmacy and took readings side by side with the pharmacy's blood pressure device, and the difference is just too big.
Maybe this particular unit is a lemon, because the readings are rather shocking and not corresponding to our history of measurements.

Works good on power supply and/or battery. I was dissapointed it uses four AAA batteries and not the standard AA size used by other companies. I highly suggest using the supplied 6V powerpack for regular in home use to save the batteries. The wide range cuff is definitely wide range. I can not imagine an arm too small or too big to exceed the cuff adjustability. The cuff appears to be standard quality. I was surprised the machine has a soft screeen and not hard plastic like other machines. It does not appear to be any future issue with usage or life of the monitor. I am happy with my purchase.

Not trust worthy at all. Blood pressure averages 2 to10 mmHg difference per test within minutes, sometimes as much as 30 mmHg witting in the same position 5 minutes apart. It is a 2 person device that will only allow one person. I don't know if mine is defective but I followed the manual and the 2 person feature id not functioning at all
