The Torin BIG RED ATH92007AR hydraulic stubby low profile bottle jack is designed for residential and commercial use. It is industrial welded and engineered using a drop forged alloyed steel construction that is ideal for quality and durability. The inner/outer welded structure and steel construction will keep your bottle jack leak-free and give it an overall stronger build. The fully welded structure is designed for hard-hitting commercial use, making large loads easy to lift. A wide, rugged base adds stability and strength. The lifting range is 6-1/2" to 11-1/4" with a 20 ton (40,000 lb) capacity. It features a high-quality glide-action pressure pump designed to lift with minimal muscle and effort and has an integrated built-in oil-bypass and overload valve that protects the hydraulic system from extending beyond its travel limits. Hydraulics are powered with a high-quality oil, which offers better corrosion resistance and high/low temperature flexibility, allowing the unit to operate at temperatures between -13 degrees Fahrenheit and 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Piston ram utilizes a Y-style polyurethane sealing ring with backup ring, preventing the load from falling slowly. This powerful bottle jack is ideal for lifting cars, trucks, SUVs, farm vehicles, heavy-duty machinery and industrial equipment. It can also be used for military applications, agricultural and industrial environments where the equipment receives heavier abuse. This unit is 100% factory tested for reliability and safety. Includes a limited 1 year manufacturer warranty.

    one jack had oil all over it and did not work at all. So I sent the both of them back, because if one doesn't work the other one may be a danger with a heavy load on it. Someone could get hurt or worse. I prefered not to take a chance. I'll never trust that company again!!

I only had to dig a hole the height of the jack plus a 1/2 inch steel plate under the corner floor joist and pumped up that baby. Did the same with the other corner and it was back leveled.     I can't tell you about the true 40k weight rating but i needed to raise a shed that's been converted to a pool house. It's about 16x16 finished out with drywall, helene got to it so i decided to raise it another foot. I initially tried some jacks i had here probably 2 ton they wouldn't do it. I bought these and let me tell you i bought 4 just in case but i could raise a corner super easily with one no problem. I ended up using 2 to lift a side up at a time. Effortlessly. What's the weight of the shed no idea....16x16 finished, ply bottom osb sides, vinyl siding, finished ceiling insulation, metal roof. Certainly no where near to 40k lbs. 1 jack could lift a whole side easily if i didn't want stress the skid beams. Anyways imagine what a shed mover,etc would charge, i got my money back immediately with this purchase. 4 stars due to that.
