This has been the easiest, best thought through application for a screen protector I’ve ever installed.

I’ve installed a lot of screen protectors in my life - on phones, game console screens, tablets - and each time I approach it prepared - cleaner, fresh cloth, air canister (blow particulates out of the air and off the screen right before application, a credit card (as a squeegee), and a BIG dollop of patience.

Right out of the box (ok, envelop) I had hopes this time it might be less painful. And it was! They provide everything needed to make the installation easy and perfect, including an instruction video. So 5 stars for install!

As for the screen, it’s great so far. Reduces the glare so it’s easier to see, especially in bright light. The slight texture/friction makes writing in my iPad soooo much better.

Only thoughts are if the screen protector holds up over time or gets smooth in frequent writing spots and if it wears down the pencil tip. And if it does? Well this is SO much cheaper than the alternative I was considering (The reMarkable2 for $600!) so that’s a lot of screen protectors and pencil tips I can buy for that and now I don’t have to have 2 devices.

Very happy and highly recommend if your looking to turn your tablet into a better writing (and easier reading) experience

I decided to go paperless this year but writing on the slick, shiny screen of my iPad was unpleasant. So I decided to try out a "paper" screen protector. It very slightly dulls the colors on the screen but you get used to it (and I don't watch much video so it's not a big deal for me). Writing on it is fantastic!! It's so smooth and comfortable to write on.
However, be aware that it did wear down my initial apple pencil tip in like a week. I bought metal tipped ones and I've been using the same one for months now without issue (no scratches, no wearing down).

i love this screen protector !! i got this twice because my first ipad air (5th gen) had battery issues and had to replace it so i had to put on a new protector. it is really easy to install when you thoroughly read the instructions. it’s obviously a little difficult to REALLY make sure there is no dust, but thats not a problem that is associated with the product itself but how you clean it. i got only 1 air bubble because of a piece of dust and it is in the bottom corner but i dont mind it at all. the product in and of itself is very good. i use my ipad for personal use and school. i watch videos, movies, and streams on it. i also make art digitally so this really helps with drawing because my apple pencil is not slippery when gliding on the screen. i also write my notes in school so it helps with writing more stable instead of your handwriting being messy because the screen is just so slippery on its own. it sounds nice when writing, i wouldnt say EXACTLY like paper, but its close enough and satisfying. there is not as much glare as usual, but obviously if a light is pointing directly on the screen then it will deflect. im very careful with my ipad so im not sure if this is a screen protector what would help against cracks, but it is a pretty thick screen protector so maybe it would?
overall, if you are an artist, or using an ipad for school and need something to help with the slipperiness of the normal glass ipad screens, this is your best bet. really take your time with the installation process and have fun once its good to go!! it comes with two protectors, so you could always try again.

Installation did not go well for me, and any bubbles on the screen are places where your pencil will not be detected by the screen. This covering doesn’t do that much to make the screen feel like pencil on paper. It slows you down a bit, but maybe only 20%?

My real issue was that I primarily use my iPad with my fingers, and this covering is abrasive. You’re not going to want to touch the screen anymore. It’s got a horrible texture, and i was leaving white, chalky residue behind on the screen with firmer presses.

I’ve used other people’s iPads with paper-like protectors and had a much better experience with those, so there are good products out there. This just isn’t one of them.

I gave this product a 20 min chance, tore it off and triggered a return.

This package with 2 included screen protectors worked out to be much cheaper than another ‘brand name’ product that’s promoted heavily on social media. It includes everything needed to accurately pre-position the protector before application (including squeegee), and the linked installation video is definitely worth watching beforehand. I recommend using an air puffer in conjunction with the included wipes and dust stickies.

It doesn’t feel exactly like writing on paper, but provides a definite tactile improvement over the hard tap-tap sensation of using the bare screen glass. A very fine granularity is added to the image quality, but it’s not distracting - and I consider it an overall improvement as it resists smudging and fingerprints much better than the bare screen. There's a little reduction in contrast (blacks not as deep), but that's expected from a matte finish.

SO... I very strongly dislike screen protectors for about 30 million different reasons (bubbles, glare, where they actually end on your screen therefore leaving you with a weird little "border", etc.) and really tend to not have them on any of my devices (outside of my kindle oasis because the eink screen bothers me with like scratches and whatnot). I have an older ipad air that doesnt get much use because I really am picky but I have it for handwriting notes since I cannot really use regular pen and pencil for long (I have cubital tunnel syndrome and had a nerve release but had enough nerve damage that the muscle loss has been hard to come back from and long story short I phsycially cannot hold a pencil for longer than 10 minutes at a time before my hand/elbow wont let me) so I use my ipad to not have to type EVERYTHING out:

It took a very reasonable time to get everything lined up and my screen clean and I plopped it down. The air bubbles work out SUPER easy if there really are any. Slow, precise movements towards the edge of the screen and you can work them out without a problem. The texture of this screen protector totally makes it feel A LOT more paperlike (or my experience with tablets you can write on is with the kindle oasis and it feels really pleasantly similar). It really doesn't hold onto fingerprints and the glare reduction is FANTASTIC! I know this may be a product youd find if your more of an artist but honestly if youre picky like me and have goals of glare reduction, fingerprint reduction, paper-esque feel, or anything like that, I'd say absolutely try these! They were reasonably priced and came with two and I don't plan on taking this one off!
