    Pros:
    Heavy duty.
    Every edge is sharp and beveled to a slight angle.
    Stands straight on floor.
    Every side can be used for a variety of tasks.
    Hoe head attaches to handle securely.
    Point edge makes easy work of removing those deep giant weeds and especially along concrete edges.

    Cons:
    Handle comes in 4pcs that screw into each other, they do work loose easily. Im going to screw and glue mine together.

    There is no angle of the head attachment. I like this but some may not.

    The length of the hoe w all 4 extension pipes is sufficent for my heighth ( 5'8") but a taller person may want an additional pipe piece for length.

    It is a little heavier than most aluminium hoes, it is heavy duty nicely made, but may tire out someone working with it for extended periods.

    Summary:
    I overall love this tool. I have purchased a 2nd one for parts. My wishlist is for company to make available for purchase a extra hoe head and additional pipe pieces to customize length.

    I was searching for a packable “triangle tool” trail building tool, that is fairly sturdy but also pretty cheap, compared with the Trail Boss type options.

    With a 56” handle it exceeds the 54” long handled version of the Travis tool. The head is basically the same size as the travis tool. And the whole unit weighs 18 oz less than the long handled travis tool.

    Like any packable or collapsable, the weak point is likely the handle, both about how strong it is, and if the connections have problems such as unscrewing during use. This looks pretty good, but I got it in late January during our snowy season, so I haven’t put any real trail building use on it. I don’t know if there will be any unscrewing issues, but figure that an o-ring, rubber paint, or loctite will help if it is an issue, and there are always clevis pins if it really becomes an issue. It seems sturdy for pretty aggressive trail work, though likely not for any overhead swings that I occasionally feel comfortable doing with a travis tool if needing to nip out a root.

    Update 1: Used in on the trail a few times now. It worked fairly well, equivalent to the triangular travis tool. It did try to unscrew just a little, but that wasn't a problem. I used it for over an hour two different times, creating 200' of trail in each place. It's smaller than a McLeod, so wasn't as ideal with lots of material (dirt or duff), but the collapsable design made it easier to bring in a pack. And light enough that I took it with me a few times when on a hike where I thought I might need it, but didn't.

    Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)

    Ever stumble on something magical (yes, magical! ;o) on 鶹 that you didn't think you needed, and find out it was the best purchase EVER? This stainless steel garden hoe is just that!

    This hoe is so sturdy, durable (fill in the superlatives) and more. It is the most solid piece of gardening equipment I've ever received, and that is saying a lot. It is not some lightweight steel, either, but well built higher grade steel with serious heft.

    The actual hoe portion has 3 versatile options to aid you in your range gardening needs, and gotta say this, it's SHARP! Best be careful when using it, as it does deliver, but could accidentally cut your hands. Not only that, this hoe is adjustable too. Need I tell you this is the most used tool in my gardening shed? It's that good!

    What's not to love?

    Love this hoe so much, that I already bought a second one for our daughter's oversized property, as I do a lot of gardening there as well. I couldn't live without this wonderful garden hoe, truth be told! You'll be happy to know this multi-length hoe is well priced. Again, it's the best $30.00 I've ever spent.

    Kindly forgive my many praises for this unique garden hoe-- I can't help myself! ;o)

    A small suggestion:

    This hoe is an unpainted piece of hardware, and can get pretty hot in the sun-- it's best to remember to leave it in the shade. I highly recommend going to the kayak section and get yourself a set of silicone paddle grips to make this tool easy to hold on hot days, and minimize any blisters as well. The paddle grips set I bought fit this hoe beautifully, and I'm a happy camper!

    I wish the blade had a threaded attachment rather than being bolted. It would be much easier to pack when riding MTB to do trail work. Otherwise a very good quality product.
