Product description
Upgrade your RV stability with the X-tended Fit X-Chock Wheel Stabilizer—engineered in the USA with heavy-duty, rust-inhibitive zinc-coated steel. Specially built for dual axle trailers with wide-stance tire spacing, this model extends up to 17" at the foot pads, making it ideal for larger gaps between tandem wheels. The X-Chock stabilizes your trailer by applying opposing force between tires, minimizing unwanted movement while working with the tires’ natural motion—not against it. Perfect for travel trailers, 5th wheels, and RVs, the package includes two X-tended Fit X-Chocks, a 3/4" ratchet wrench with comfort bumper, and supports an optional lock (28015 Pad Lock) for added security. Enjoy worry-free setup backed by a limited lifetime warranty and a more stable camping experience wherever you go.

- Reviewed in Canada on January 31, 2020Verified PurchasePerfect for the larger space between tandem axles on our rv. Does take up a bit of space and adds weight but it's a necessity in my mind.

- Reviewed in Canada on August 1, 2019Verified PurchaseThey look beefy and well made but I have to give 1 star because the product description said it would fit on a bullet. These will NOT fit on the bullet RV due to the fender skirt and bracketry over the tires. I can only use these horizontally but then only one foot pad per tire will be applied. Not sure if that is safe enough to prevent movement of the trailer so I don't think I can use them. If you dont have a fender skirt over your tires and it is wide open I'm sure these will work great.
- Reviewed in Canada on November 8, 2022Verified PurchaseI use it on my 30' trailer with wide-spaced dual axles and it does help stabilize. It's a noticeable improvement but it certainly won't make it rock solid. I also ordered stabilizer bars to place under the rear and side of the trailer which helps even more if I'm going to stay in one location for a while. I think you need both, especially for ultra-lite trailers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works as advertized!
Verified PurchaseOnly used once, but that was all that was needed to notice the difference walking around inside the camper. Worked great and super easy to install. I used my cordless ratchet instead of the tool that came with the X-chocks, which made it a breeze.

5.0 out of 5 stars These chocks do what they are advertised to do
Verified PurchaseI used these chocks this weekend and was amazed at how they stabilized our trailer. Virtually no movement front to back. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The only drawback I found was that the two wheel pads on the ends of the narrower bars were too loose to pre-position the
pads prior to installing the chocks. It almost required a third hand to hold the pads in place during installation. SIMPLE SOLUTION: A piece of vinyl tubing slightly longer than the space between the bars slipped around the bolts that hold the pads on to apply some pressure against the pads worked great. I would highly recommend the manufacturer consider adding something similar. That makes installation pretty much effortless.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice product, with room for improvement - though probably over-priced
Verified PurchaseThe things that I like about these are that it has eliminated virtually ALL movement when walking front-to-back in my RV, which is really great - even if I don't quite understand the mechanics of how that works exactly.
And I like the fact that - even though they cover their butts by saying it's not supposed to be relied on for breaking - it undeniably adds another level of manual braking to the wheels, aside from just regular chocks.
One qualm I have I have is that the center adjustment bar is SO long it actually digs into the ground, and the only reason this length is necessary is when you have them fully compressed flat like when they first arrive. So it seems like it's only for the sake of shipping them in a smaller box.
Since it makes no sense to crank these days all day to get them flat each time I take them off, I might just take an angle grinder to em to trim that bar shorter.
I'd attach a picture, but 鶹 oddly seems to have removed the option to attach pictures to reviews (at least for me?).
I will say that I also recently installed the BAL 23216 Lock-Arm Stabilizer bars to prevent side-to-side motion as well, and they were REALLY well (thought there's probably 5% of the motion still there with really intense gusts of wind - but it's barely noticeable and certainly not enough to wake me up like before).
In fact, aside from being outside the return window, the only reason why I wouldn't return these chocks in lieu of another set of the stabilizer bars mounted in the front-to-back position (which would be $30 cheaper) is the extra braking power that's added to the wheels which the stabilizer bars wouldn't provide. And I don't want to give up that extra peace-of-mind.
On the flip side, you never have to remove the stabilizer bars like you do the X-chocks (just loosen/tighten a bolt with the stabilizer jack's crank handle), so that's something to consider.
Anyway, I hope that helps you in your buying decision as countless other people have helped me with their own reviews. If so, please pay it forward by reviewing your own purchases with information that you wish you would've had when you were contemplating the purchase.
Cheers!

5.0 out of 5 stars Super secure tough to install
Verified PurchasePros
It fits wide spaced axles
It lock down movement
Cons
The hinge points are bradded
Two of the four feet have very stiff articulation
Installing on wide spaced axles - the lead screw is protruding so far out of the hinge nut that the chock has to be installed with the protruding lead screw up, not down this places the lead screw hex on the bottom and makes installing awkward.
Storage for traveling - IF you collapse these with the provided ratchet, every time you remove them, plan on adding an extra 30 to your set up and tear down.
All in all does a good job for the money there’s just a bunch of improvements that could make them a great solution to your rocking issues.
