I realize that for some readers the brutality towards and abuse of children may be just too much but the problem unfortunately exists and I believe that Ms. Neuhaus is right that it must be brought to the public in order to be prevented (or at least efforts to be made to minimize it...).

    Pia Kirchhoff und Oliver von Bodenstein stehen im sechsten Band der Taunus-Krimis vor vielen Rätseln.
    Im Main wird die Leiche eines Mädchens gefunden. Sie wird nicht vermisst und keiner weiß, wer sie ist. Die Jugendlichen, die bei ihr waren und sie gefunden haben, waren stark alkoholisiert und wollen das Mädchen nicht gekannt haben und auch nichts mit dem Tod zu tun haben. Das Mädchen wurde vor ihrem Tod brutal vergewaltigt.
    Die Fernsehmoderatorin Hannah bekommt eine brisante Story geliefert und will alle Hintergründe wissen. So gerät sie aber in Gefahr und wird kurz darauf selbst zum Opfer - man findet sie, lebend aber schwer verletzt, im Kofferraum ihres Wagens. Auch sie wurde auf brutalste Weise misshandelt. Die Art und Weise ist eine ähnliche wie bei dem toten Mädchen aus dem Main.
    Auch Pia Kirchhoff wird nicht verschont. Sie hat sich durch ihre Ermittlungen in eine Sache eingemischt, die sie aus Sicht des Mörders nichts angeht. In ihrem familiären Umfeld kommt es zu einem tragischen Zwischenfall...
    Auch ein kleines Mädchen, die Tochter einer Freundin von Pia, gibt ihrer Mutter Rätsel auf. Sie ist verändert, verschreckt, aggressiv und zieht sich immer mehr von ihrer Mutter zurück. Und dann fängt sie auch noch an, von einem "bösen Wolf" zu reden... Wer ist es? Wie hängen all diese Taten und Geschichten miteinander zusammen?
    Die Geschichte um ihr Thema Kindesmissbrauch ist beängstigend, beklemmend, aber nicht "abgedroschen" - wirklich lesenswert!
    Nele Neuhaus lässt uns zwischen Entsetzen, Wut und absolutem Unverständnis hin und herpendeln lassen. Die Autorin schafft es, die verschiedenen Sichtweisen bei diesem Thema sachlich und sensibel zu beschreiben: die der Opfer, die der Eltern, die der Peiniger, bei denen der Profit im Vordergrund steht und die ihre Moral über Bord geworfen haben. Und die, die ihre krankhaften Neigungen mit diesen Kindern befriedigen und weder Scham noch Schuldgefühle kennen.
    Stringent, chronologisch und parallel entwickelt die auktoriale Erzählerin die einzelnen Handlungsstränge, die sie Schritt für Schritt zusammenführt und dann souverän verknüpft. Die Charaktere sind ausgefeilt bis ins kleinste Detail und sorgen dabei für überraschende Geschehnisse in der Geschichte.
    Der Schreibstil der Autorin ist klar, flüssig und sehr gut lesbar. Die dialektgefärbten Dialoge und Alltagssituationen machen die Geschichte sehr authentisch. Sie geht mit dem Thema um.
    Das war der bisher beste Nele Neuhaus Krimi. Dichter und spannend. Man ist als Leser mittendrin.
    Der Spannungsbogen ist konstant hoch, der Schreibstil gewohnt flüssig. Die Handlung. schlüssig
