*** SEE MY DEMO VIDEO in my video/photo gallery. The video about sums it up. *** It's a little on the noisy side, so if you're planning to have a poker night with your buddies/girlfriends, be sure you're not close to your kids/baby/toddler's room while they're napping. Have no kids? Well you don't need my permission to play a game of poker in your undies. Overall the unit works great, I'm not going to bother repeating what's already been stated in the main product page other than it works well on a fresh set of cards. I haven't tested it yet on a used worn down set, but I imagine similar results unless they're really mashed up... in which case I recommend buying a new set for obvious reasons. It does the job fairly well when taking into consideration the price point it's going for. Obviously not a commercial/casino grade, high end, piece of equipment, but it gets the job done... and rather well at that. Quite honestly I'm surprised how well it works, my expectations weren't that high going in, but after several go's with this thing, it does a great job shuffling the cards reasonably well. For a really good shuffle you may want to consider running it through a few times. This particular unit uses (x4) AA Batteries, yay. Easy enough to find, cost effective, and no need to recharge the unit if you're in the middle of a game. Just swap them out with new batteries. Fairly portable and compact as well to take with you anywhere. Not super small or anything, but a decent size/fit. I plan to use this with my 6.5 year old daughter who absolutely loves to play a good game of uno with her pops. She's still learning how to shuffle, so having this auto-shuffler comes in handy for when we need to expedite the process or it's close to her bedtime. Overall, I like it a lot. Thumbs up!

    After looking over multiple shufflers, I decided on this one which turned out to be the right choice.

    With any shuffler like this, you want to make sure the cards are all lined up with each other, and split the deck putting as close to 1/2 the deck on either side making sure all the cards are pushed up snug against the middle on the device, then push the shuffle button all the way down and hold until the last card goes in the shuffled pile for removal.

    It does jam occasionally, but I found this only really happens when starting and stopping the shuffle part way or not pressing the shuffle button all the way down for the whole process.

    After using it for over 100 shuffles, there was only one legitimate jam which was easily corrected by pushing the cards that didn't fully come through back in and then pulling them out to the middle. Do not try to yank the jammed cards as this will result in damage/alignment issues with the machine and/or damage the cards as it has a good grip on them.

    100% recommend this shuffler as the price is good and the others on amazon that look like it are the chinese knock-off models.
