Right away I was impressed at how nice this watch winder looked out of the box. Great build, solid feel, and whisper quiet and unnoticeable while sleeping. The cushion accommodates a variety of watch sizes very well. It has two different orientations, presumably for larger men's watches and smaller women's watches. The larger orientation was a great fit for my smaller 38mm watch and my larger square 42mm watch. They all fit very well with no sliding or moving while rotating. It has two different modes with alternating cycles of rotation, and is bi-directional to ensure winding of all watches. It's very quiet, and I love that the watch is at a 45 degree angle with a top and front window view available. The USB plug is great for home or traveling. The Daisy chain plug is a nice feature to share power with a second winder in the future. It's well made, looks great, and I'd highly recommend it

    Uhh if you are hoping for a cheap good silent winder.... well that's not that. It's silent the first day. Then it gets louder and louder. Mind you I don't even use it every single day so I don't have that much mileage on it. But after about a month or two of occasional use i had to move it to a bathroom from my bedroom because it was so noisy. I now hear it through the door. Also for whatever reason it fails to do the only reason i bought if for - keep my watch winded. It extends the period of my watch working by about a 16 hours, then the watch stops.

    I purchased this watch winder mainly because of the positive reviews on the craftsmanship and how the winder makes no sound when rotating. The winder worked perfectly for the first two months and made no noticeable sound. However, the motor has started to make a distinct humming sound after the two month mark, which is unfortunate. It's not super loud but I can definitely hear it humming from across the bedroom at night when all is quiet. Other than that, the craftsmanship is excellent (feels and looks like a high quality winder) and I still believe there is good value even though the motor is making some noise.

But so far, after using it for close to a year, it's proven to be reliable, quite quiet, and fits large sport watches. One neat feature is you can daisy-chain several of these together, using a cable included. So you would only need one wall adaptor. For about $40, it's good value.
