Ideal for frequent changeovers to workpieces of different sizes. Automatic adjustment for one-hand operation both for right-handed and left-handed use. Good access to the workpiece due to the slim dimensions in the head and joint area and flush joint bolt. Self-locking on pipes and nuts: no slipping off the workpiece and low hand force required.

Gripping surfaces with special hardened teeth, teeth hardness (approx. 61 HRC): low wear and reliable gripping

    Just got home and opened them up (and played around with them a little). This is going to be huge. The way the ratcheting mechanism works is brilliant! As you squeeze the handles it will lock on the nearest pawl once it feels resistance and allow you to squeeze the rest of the way to really bite into whatever you are grabbing. To release, you just remove it from the bolt and give it a squeeze. The lock is going to make storage convenient. As a diesel mechanic, i just wish they made a pliers wrench model, as well. I'd buy that in a heart beat, regardless of cost. An xl version of this would also be quite nice.

    I do commercial mechanical plumbing. Lots of threaded rod, 3/8, and 1/2” nuts, beam clamps etc. now I can work all day with one single tool when doing hangers and with the auto grip I get everything super tight I never get frustrated and leave something semi tight like we all do with regular pliers
