The Aurora High Security 8-sheet crosscut paper/ credit card shredder with 3.7-gallon wastebasket is the perfect home office device to keep you safe from identity theft. The shredder accepts up to 8 sheets of paper at a time and shreds them into small pieces (3/16 by 1-27/32 inches), security level P-3.

In addition to paper, it's also shreds credit cards, keeping vital information from falling into the wrong hands. The throat of the shredder is 8.7 inches wide and allows continuous shredding for 3 minutes. The item includes an integrated handle for easy emptying of the 3.7-gallon wastebasket.

It has a section for shredding old credit or debit cards built in, and it comes with its own basket, which is necessary for operation as there is a safety latch that operates the shredder. The plug-in cord is fairly long. The entire unit is very attractive, and it's fairly quiet when in operation. It's easy to feed and takes up to 8 sheets at once. If you happen to have a paper jam, the reverse function is also very handy. Highly recommended!

I think it would stress the blades and the opening would not accommodate that many sheets. The opening width could be a little longer as you have to position the papers "just so" and fiddle with them to get the papers to feed into the shredder. Overall, this is a nice home shredder for light shredding.
