This sun sounds pretty awesome. Especially at the price point of $160ish bucks. Now, I have found that since the enclosed box is only 7 inches thick at its widest point, this bass is a littler tighter sounding than my previous 12 inch Rockford discard enclosed sub in my old car - that one rattled the mirrors a little more. This one vibrates the rear view mirror a little, and I can still feel some bass. For an SUV cab, it’s plenty without hurting my ears and can still slap. I also went with the low-profile enclosure so it doesn’t take up much storage space. Overall a very good subwoofer purchase. I do wish it came with a detachable wire hook-up plug like my old Rockford fosgate did when I needed to remove it for storage space. But I found Scoche sells one for about $20.

If you’re looking for a powered sub for under $200, this is a fantastic options
