    This reads like a teenager's diary. I don't think it has been seen by an editor and it badly needs one. Although I'm not sure what would be left of the book then. It's also terribly repetitive. The first 3/4 of the book is bad. The last quarter you want to tear your hair out though. Lastly, I may be wrong but i think it's also riddled by misconception and wishful thinking.

    Must read because Chris Giancarlo is clearly a huge influencer in the way that crypto regulation will go in the US, being a former regulator himself. I totally loved this book because you can hear Chris' own voice in it - he writes as he speaks. Also, he draws from his career as a commodities trading man, and the definition of crypto as a commodity is exactly what is at stake right now. The interviews he has given against the views of Gary Gensler and others are clearly reflected in this book. The book guides us on the issues in front of the US right now.

    This was a great, story-driven book about what has happened in the world of money and crypto and what needs to happen to have digital money be the future. It's so important that the US lead the way in crypto and it was refreshing to hear a former CFTC chair share his vision. It's also important that everyone know the critical details of those early fights for Bitcoin. Only CryptoDad could deliver here and he did!

    I believe a lot of people think crypto emerged out of nowhere very recently. Giancarlo describes how the US government is carefully balancing the need to integrate crypto into existing financial systems while encouraging its vast potential.
